Good shoes , comfortable and decent price

Bought these as I am always walking dogs with my dog care business. It says water proof, and this is the case for the first two months or so, but now when I walk in wet grass, I can feel the water seeping through the shoes so I end up with wet feet. Which is a shame as that was the whole reason that I bought them. The fit is great and they walk fine but only in dry weather!!

Update: These trainers were used infrequently over the summer months but since September as it's getting wetter I am using them a few times a week. I am still very happy with them and they are comfortable, keep my feet dry and don't look particularly worn.Previous comment:I have now worn these for 6 days in a row for work, which involves lots of walking in London in all weathers - so this week lots of rain, wind and puddles to contend with.My feet have stayed dry - no wet socks - a miracle!My feet have been completely comfortable! I was quite worried about this as many trainers I've tried over the last few years have been a bit uncomfortable mainly due to a tailors bunion on one foot. But these have been so comfortable - my feet haven't even ached by the end of a 10 hour day wearing these. I was really surprised how light they are.I am usually a 6 and these were true to size.I think so far they are really worth the money I paid for them - £49 - and I'm so pleased I chose them.I suppose the only negative I can think of is that they are not particularly attractive to look at, but not awful either. If I remember I will come back and update about longevity.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and a generous width for me, I struggle with many shoes being too narrow. I bought them for a 5 day trip to Rome when I saw rain forecast and realised I needed waterproof footwear, I had many tours booked so knew I would be doing a lot of walking, I didn’t have time to wear them in just took a chance and wore them straight out the box with a pair of cushioned ankle socks. No discomfort or blisters, feet didn’t overheat, I walked many miles a day in them, including to the top of Mount Vesuvius! I would definitely recommend and would buy again. Thankfully the rain barely affected me so I can’t comment on how waterproof they are but will update if I can once worn in rain.

A very comfortable pair of walking shoes .. I’m a size 4 and usually find these kind of shoes heavy and small fitting , these are a perfect fit and very light weight , they look good too !

I would describe these as trainers rather than a walking shoe. Very comfortable, well made, and waterproof (tested!), they are a good recreational shoe, but there are better in the price range for walking (see my other reviews).The loops are in fabric rather than metal rings for the laces, which do work undone sometimes. I would have liked more arch support, but maybe that's just me.I take 6-6.5, so bought a 7 as i like to wear walking socks, and they are quite generous in sizing, so would probably buy a 6/6.5 next time for general leisure. I will use them for summer / light / dog walking.

The size is marked as “9” and “42” , which is unusual - 9 is normally a 43. I would say size true to the 42 but too short for me. Also on the snug size width wise. Looked ok quality and very lightweight. Returned for refund - very easy no packaging, no printer, free drop off with UPS

These walking shoes are really good. Comfortable straight away and I’ve now walked many miles in them and not a rub or blister in sight. I’d say they come in slightly smaller as I’ve ordered a size up and they fit really well. I’d highly recommend these walking shoes and they’re great value for money.
