The designs are cute and encourage my toddler to file her nails on her own, which I really enjoy. They are a little large for a squirmy newborn- I prefer the much smaller files for that but as the baby gets a little older and grows into late infancy/toddler years, they will be much easier to use. They're very soft and easily manipulated, which is great for a little one's tender hands, but also makes them much easier to destroy should your kid get ahold of them. I just barely saved the frog from a terrible fate. Good price given you'll likely get a lot of use out of just one of them.

These Baby Nail Files are SUPER CUTE!! They are perfect for filing and shaping delicate baby nails and are so tiny they take up no room. You can store them in your purse or diaper bag to have with you at all times. I love the bright colors and characters on each. This is such a handy thing to have they are great for you or to give as a baby gift. The sandy part is attached to a foamy middle, and it seems that they will not easily break, but you can use them for a long time. Since baby's nails are so delicate, you shouldn't wear these out for a while! Very nice!!

Soft and save. These are good to use especially if you’re nervous on using a nail clipper.They may not work well on your nails, but remember baby nails are much softer.

This is a great alternative for trimming babies' nails. My baby did not like the automatic nail grinder and nail clippers, but this one did not bother her at all. Aside from it is so cute, it works pretty great too.

This filing set is cute but a bit flimsier than I would have liked. My little one's nails shred them after a couple uses.
