I have tried at least 4 different sippy cups to try to get my one year old to drink from a straw. He just wasn't getting it and kept biting the straws instead of sucking. He's been in occupational therapy for a while, and they actually recommended this cup. The first time I offered him this cup, he started sucking. He drank more water from this cup than he's ever had in one sitting. It is pricey, and I'm hoping that this will be a cup that will help him transition to cups that are less expensive, but I was pretty amazed that he knew exactly what to do. I'm a happy mama!

Super cute cup with good intentions, but the dang lid won't stay on for me! I've tried it backwards and forwards and sideways and any way I put it it always slides up/pops up. So it's spilled on my toddler a couple times. Unfortunately it's not useable. Wish I could return it but missed the return window.

As a pediatric feeding therapist, I've enjoyed using this cup with my clients. I like the size of the cup and length of straw. The handles make it easy for small hands to hold independently. Parents like the material and color options. I particularly like the option for helping children express liquid, and how the cup is easily adapted for various developmental levels.

My 1 year old quickly figured out how to take the lid off. It is not a secure lid. And if you have the straw in the lid when closing it, the liquid squirts out the straw

I have tried dozens of times and ways to get this lid properly, and from research in this I am doing it “correctly”, however, it doesn’t stay on at all. DO NOT BUY

This cup does a decent job for what it is. We like that is is made from materials that are safe and non-toxic. We can only assume this is why the price point is so high for this cup. We used this cup just as our toddler was starting to use sippy cups instead of a bottle. Our toddler had an easy time using the straw and holding the cup on his own. He liked to carry it around with him and would drop it when he wasn't thirty anymore. The seal and the straw never seemed to consistently seal and/or align well and it would leak unless we grabbed it and set it upright quickly.

We really loved this cup at first but after buying a few others that are similar, it’s not our top choice. The great things about it are that it’s high quality, very sturdy, easy for young babies to hold and drink from independently, and pretty easy to clean. The straw is skinnier than some other models so my baby doesn’t drink too fast. I recognized the brand TalkTools as created by OT/SLPs so I was confident in using it without worry to my son’s oral motor development. The main downside for us is that it does leak more than others we’ve tried and the lid doesn’t seem to ever be fully secure. But we still use this one in our rotation and our baby likes it.
