These are nice gloves. Just nice - not spectacular.The picture makes them look a teal colour but the design is actually more of a forest green. It is a lovely pattern, but looks more green in real life.The construction is okay, they certainly aren't thrown proof - although I can't remember off the top of my head if this was something they claimed. but thorns certainly would penetrate around the sides of the fingers.Another issue I found was that the fingers are very short. I bought these for my friend who is a thin lady and I wouldn't say had overly large hands but the S/M were very small indeed. I decided to keep them for myself and order her the next size up M/L. They too were very short in the fingers.They are quite expensive for what they are, even from amazon so you are paying for the name Burgeon and Ball.

Bought as a Christmas present and the recipient was very pleased. Lots of lovely padding, great fabric material and a velcro strap by the wrist means they can be tightened appropriately to stop any dirt getting in the top of them. The thicker fabric coveres the tips of the fingers too which is normally a place that wears out quickly.The fabric is a lovely vibrant colour which is really nice and what drew me to them in the first place. It's nice to gift something that is not only functional but pretty too!

I was looking for some durable glove to do some work on our garden and found these. They are pretty sturdy and confortable with a nice design that who can choose from. Recommend!

I could have bought a pair of plain gloves from the supermarket but went for these as they looked more well designed for slim fingers and they do fit perfectly. The material is breathable but protects hands. Love the pattern!

Well made, nice fit (I bought small), cosy warm, no thorn issues cutting back the hedge row & clean fingernails! Total winner & I hope they last better than my other gloves.

I bought these for a friend. They look as good as in the picture and well made. I tried on one hand and they feel really comfy and good fit. I have no doubt she will like them.
