IMS Trading Retriever Roll Dog Treat Quantity: 6-lb, Flavor: Natural

These rawhides are a great investment for heavy chewers. My lab mix can polish one off in an evening, depending on the tightness of the roll. There is definitely some variance from roll to roll in quality, but overall most in the bag are great. I tend to take them away after she's gotten through half to make the bag last longer. It's funny to see her looking for it, like "I'm not through with that yet, where is it?" There is no splintering I've seen like from some other brands. Though many times my dog will chew for a while and then is able to pull out the middle part, leaving a shell of rawhide. That happens in maybe 2-3/bag. Overall a great find, just wish they didn't change the pricing on them all the time!

Ok they are called retriever rolls, guess that's because my Golden Retriever can eat one in 40 minutes. My standard poodle takes all day, same with the standar poodle-Doberman cross. My visual-cross doesn't like them so much too big, she waits for one of the others to soften them and trys to steal them so I end up soaking one a bit for her. I prefer the chips since then I'm not giving them nearly as much rawhide in go, but when the chips aren't available these are a good subsitiute. If your worried about some of the negative reviews, if your dog like and tolerates rawhide these will be fine, if you don't know I'd suggest picking up a small pack to make sure not all dogs like or can tolerate raw hide. Don't forget to give your dog fish like  Chicken of the Sea, Chub Mackerel, 15-Ounce Cans (Pack of 24)  once or twice a week for health. Salmon is probably even better  Chicken of the Sea Traditional Pink Salmon, 14.75-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)  but rather pricy.

I originally wrote a good review for these but am updating it as of May 2017. First Review: These are huge but do the trick. I cut them in thirds for my 65 lab/border collie mix and my 40 mutt. They both love them and that size will keep them busy for hours. The usual caveat applies; make certain you're there to watch them just in case of choking.Second Review: The lastest bag has sticks of different colors including browns and yellows. While the dogs used to go nuts when I brought these out, with this last bag, they chewed for about two minutes and wouldn't touch them again. I tried two more with the same results and have since thrown the bag away. I don't know what the maker did to these but if my dogs won't touch them, there is something drastically wrong. No more purchases.

I found these a better value than what I had been buying at the local warehouse store. They last much longer and are not as brittle. Sometimes other rawhides had this loose narrow piece in the middle that would fall out and I worried about it being a choking hazard, so I had to watch like a hawk and try to get to it before my dog ran away with it to swallow it. And these rawhides are not made in China. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch or something, but these were terrible for my dog. She tears through these in about 10 minutes and when she bites into them there is a loud cracking sound followed by sprays of little sharp bits everywhere. My dog doesn't have any food sensitivities that I know of, but every time I give her one of these, her poop comes out runny and clay colored. I've fed 3 of these to her and I'm going to be throwing the rest in the trash.

It is Ok. Not what I was expecting. The inside of the bone is packed with small pieces. Very strong chemical smell

We've been buying these rolls for our Saint Bernard for the past 2 years. We tried other treats that claimed to "keep your dog busy for hours" that would be gone in a few minutes! While these don't last for more than an hour when she's really chewing they do last longer than other treats we've tried. They're also good for an occasional game of tug-of-war.
