DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard - OWB Gun Holster for Men and Women, Leather Belt Slide Holster for Pistols, Exact Molding, Secure and Concealable Carry

This Holster will actually fit other firearms! I bought this for two different semi-autos. I have both the Sig 226 R and a S&W 4566 TSW (which has a rail and the hammer spear) It will fit a few of the Sigs, I have not tried the 227 yet? It should fit!So if you have a any of the S&W 45 TSW with rails your in luck because there are no holsters out there for this gun! there is one for the non rail! but not railed, so this is what you would have to use!I have now purchased a few of these for my different semi-autos, reason being for the two options on cant. The holster is snugger on some models are just right on others?? But you can work in the snug ones. These don't have felt lining! kin of wished they did, but I can live with out it. I uses the holster for carry and also transporting in a rang bag when I have numerous pistols when going to the range, they offer some protection without having to take a lot of hard cases with you.Look I know that the new trend is Kydex, and I have some! Kydex in my opinion seems a little rougher on pistols coatings! Not to mention I have now broken two Kydex holsters where they join together and attach to your belt. So leather has always been the better choice for durability.Some of the pictures for the scabbard holsters shows white stitching, but all of the ones I have received have black!I hope this review helps, there are a lot of holster manufactures out there: I feel that DeSantis makes good solid holsters! The leather is good, the stitching is strong, the color is consistent, and the holster is pre-formed to help with fitment on your belt (just not a straight flat opening for where your belt goes)!

This is a very good hoster for my S&W M&P 9M Compact. It's a little tight when new but will loosen with use. It holds the weapon close to the body and can be adjusted for a tilt or straight carry.

Got this as a gift … for S&W M&P M2.0 Compact Semi-auto Pistol 9mm 4” 10+1.Fits perfectly. Nice holster!I have two others from this company; both great.

Good holster, 220 fits well out of the box and rides well on the hip. Did deduct a star due to black threads, wanted contrasting like the picture. Will still keep and use

The holster shipped promptly and quickly...I was very happy with this.The holster seems to have just the right amount of tension to keep the pistol inside securely without being difficult to draw. The thumb break also provides a firm clasp while being easy to release when needed.The holster extends approximately 1/2" beyond the end of the barrel on my M&P 9C. Guessing it would be a great fit for the full size M&P 9/40 as advertised - but I don't have one to verify this.With my belt snug tight around my waist the holster and pistol ride tight to my body.I've only been wearing it for a few weeks so I can't comment on its durability. But so far all is well and I'm very happy with it.

Product seems like good quality but it’s not the one in the picture. The picture seems like it’s red dot compatible but it’s not

This holster is a glove like fit for my full sized M&P40. It seems to have about the right amount of tension out of the factory, but I like the tension screw adjustments in case it loosens up with use. The leather is tough but supple saddle leather, and the overall quality is excellent. The stitching on the one I received is black, not white. But, I actually prefer the black. The pistol rides relatively high and with a forward angle, which is good for me. It wears comfortably. This is a traditional, quality holster.
