It Works!
This ‘Handy Plunger’ has paid for itself after the first use, we don’t need more of the pretty useless chemical unblockers. This ‘Handy Plunger’ did the job quickly with minimum fuss. I chose this one because it looked as if it meant business. It did! Will it work on your sink? You just need it to sit with its rim on the porcelain (or whatever) surrounding the plug hole. Block your overflow - this is important (I used a twist of microfibre cloth, but someone’s thumb might do). Hold the plunger and run warm water to partly cover the bellows. Now, firmly pump the plunger up and down several times. I didn’t pump it very hard but it made satisfying sounds. The sink emptied - whoosh - faster than it had for years, and without the prolonged gurgling, like farts in the bath, that could carry on for a minute. It is much better than my old ‘Dalek’ style plunger that luckily we had lost.Safety specs especially good if you recently used those chemicals.

Perfect suction devise for suction needs
My partner lives with 5 people plus myself and one of the guys gfs being over most of the time so as you can imagine the bathrooms get abused. The main shower was blocked and would fill up whenever we used it then wouldn't drain for around an hour, a nightmare!I bought this as I didn't want to loose my one or my parents one nor did I want to spend a crap load on it so I got this one and it works wonders! I had put draino type stuff down this drain to no avail, used one of those bendy hair removers which got a few good chunks but not the main one and yet this got rid of the big blockage after a few minutes of hard/fast action, which I am so thankful for.I would definitely recommend and if my one ever breaks I'll be replacing it with this as the one I bought will most likely end up with one of the other housemates when they move on.Perfect for British baths and the suction on it is immense...we tried it out on our heads and we struggled to yank it back off haha!

Better than a conventional plunger by miles
I have had problems with my drains since moving in to my maisonette 3 years ago. I found myself using a conventional plunger on my kitchen sink only for it to be blocked again in days. After purchasing this plunger my drains are clearer than ever and seem to be staying that way. I found that during use the plunger slipped around a little more than I expected but was much easier and quicker to use. I then tested it on my bathroom sink which I previously thought emptied fine to find it's now twice as quick! Definitely worth a try rather than spending a fortune on sink unblockers and plumber bills.

MUCH better than liquid drain un-blockers
We moved into a new house 2 years ago and the sink in the bathroom has been permanently blocked during that period. We have put litres and litres of various brands of drain un-blocker down, and had almost come to the conclusion that there must be something wrong with the pipework, then I bought this. It has worked brilliantly at shifting what has turned out to be a golf ball sized lump of bathroom gunk (mainly soap etc.). So not only is it much cheaper than liquid cleaners, it is better for the environment, safer to use, and at the end of the day it works better. Although you do not need any instructions for how to use a sink plunger, if you have never used one before I would advise that you ensure you put a cloth or something similar over the overflow. Otherwise when you pump the plunger down lumps of yuckiness will get launched across the bathroom. Ask me how I know!

Pretty strong for plastic.
My bathroom sink had been blocked for a wee while despite my pouring various gels down it with no success. So I purchased this due to several positive reviews and on receiving it I proceeded, with some ferocity I might add, to unbung my sink, a revolting pong emitted however the water still trickled away extremely slowly as before. To say I was exasperated by this turn of events would be an understatement, I resisted the temptation on throwing the aforementioned ‘plunger’ out the window for fear of hurting next doors cat who sleeps under my shrubs, instead I retreated downstairs and had a cuppa. Once my blood pressure had returned to normal I returned with a firm grasp on a bottle of Mr Muscle gel with a determined glint in my eye.....after following the relevant instructions, I turned the hot water tap on with some trepidation and to my utter joy the water poured freely down the drain. In conclusion, I’m of the belief that this plunger dislodged whatever gross gunky unpleasant mess that was secreted beneath my shiny sink and the gel just nudged the residue. I’ll definitely use it again.
