The absolute best mic for the price range for streamers and broadcasters
So I have had the SAMSON Q9U (USB + XLR model), the famous SHURE SM7B and now the SAMSON Q9X. A little background on me, I am a hobbyist PC builder, streamer and gamer and I am EXTREMELY OCD on the quality of my visuals and audio for my audience and I want to give you all a comparison from my experiences:The SAMSON Q9U is a DECENT microphone. I really liked the flexibility of the USB-C output for those who don't want to use the XLR interface. My MASSIVE gripe about that mic, I couldn't get the muddiness out of the sound. I have a rather deep radio voice naturally so that was something I kept in mine while trying to EQ in my GOXLR Mini. I would rate Q9U a 6 out of 10.Now on to the famous SHURE

Take this review from a knowledgable (somewhat) person about audio
This is a great mic. The differences between this and its big brother the Samson Q9U is that this is XLR only and it only had the mid boost button. The Q9U gives you dual capability between USB and XLR and has the pass filter buttons on it as well. They sound the same. You only get the microphone and wind screen with it, which I thought was obvious but apparently not. I would definitely recommend this microphone especially for the price to get you started in podcasting or streaming, or if you just want an additional microphone. If you want to get a USB microphone so you can just plug and play directly to the computer, I would recommend the Sennheiser Profile, or the RODE NT-USB mini

Too muffled
Sounded like a heil pr40. Looked amazing, but it was too bass like. Had to return it because I wanted the mic to be warm and clear.
