This tea kettle is great. It makes tea. It can be cleaned well. The features like the audio-alert cap function great.1. Don't open the lid while holding it and full of hot steam. Should be obvious.2. Everything that can loosen can also tighten. If you're capable of using a + screwdriver, you've got this.3. The plastic handle on top is, I would say, it's greatest liability for maintenance. There's a very remote chance someone could leave their kettle on until it turns red and this part catches fire. Just like plastic pot handles. It also can't easily be replaced. But it keeps you from getting burnt grabbing the handle. Choose your own adventure, I chose mine.

The descriptors states that you can grasp the handle without risking burns. I grasped the handle the first time I heated this kettle up and burned my hand. Otherwise, it is a very nice kettle. Just make sure you use a pot holder or over mitt to lift it to pour hot water.

Within 1st week the cover on whistle area fell off. Whistle does not work so you have to keep checking if water is boiling. Just over a month of use the knob to take lid off feel off. Now it’s near impossible to get lid off.Tried to return with pick up option but company never came and collected it. Got distracted having a baby and by the time I checked return time had just passed so tried to keep using it but now it is to broken to use.It was a very nice looking kettle but since I can’t use it, it was a big Waste of money.Don’t recommend buying.

It was a nice looking kettle; however, the quality was very bad. The Whistling part fell from the kettle after two months of use and can’t be fixed. I contacted the seller and requested for either the replacement or a refund. The seller advised no replacement can be provided however they offered $3 refund. Yes, $3, what a joke! I contacted them again and they offered $5, then finally $10. It’s ridiculous. If you want a kettle with good quality, please do not buy it. It’s not worth the money and the effort if you have to deal with the seller for any issues.

Bouilloire belle de bonne qualité. Siffle lorsque l'eau boue. Il est faux de dire que la poignée brûle lorsque leau est bouillie. de plus elle siffle assez fort lorsque prête.Je recommande .MAIS ATTENTION au copie. Une autre est presque pareille et elle est cheap avec le même nom. Je viens de la retourner. Ne sifflait presque pas et est arrivée grafignée.
