Haven't had hernia surgery yet and using this to prolong it.
Have an umbilical hernia that somedays hurts. Using this thing has helped take some of that pressure of the hernia so I can make it through. It's large enough that it doesn't feel like it's biting into me or causing undue pressure which helps since I'm a fatty.I like how there is the big fat straps that do the main support and then two little ones that I can easily tighten/loosen as needed through the day.Only real gripe I have is that as it's gotten older the material has started to curl. This causes it so the velcro isn't always covered causing it to rub against my skin if I'm not careful. Also it makes it a little hard to use it "stealth mode" since the curling will cause a wrinkle or line in my shirt like an odd pair of underwear going only around my waist. But hey it does what I need and when I'm hurting this helps the pain go away.

Amazing Hernia Belt
I had four major incisional hernias two of which were compromised with intestines and I did not want to use synthetic mesh which all of the surgeons wanted to use with the exception of one of my local general surgeons who was willing to do my surgery with a bio-mesh. The only thing he insisted on was that I wear a hernia belt pretty much 24/7 with the exception of bathing. The one that was provided to me from the hospital was awful, so I searched until I found this one and I love it. It so comfortable and I can cinch it tighter when I need more support and loosen it when I don’t. Definitely size up but other than that, it’s absolutely perfect!! My Doctor even wanted me to send him the link so that he could recommend this belt to his other patients. I know that I’ll be wearing this when doing any major activities for the rest of my life but it makes it worth it with this hernia belt!

WIDE & BULKY for me
May be good for a person with a long torso & not too many or large rolls. I'm a short 280 lbs soft & big rolls so it wasn't comfortable. It dug in my ribs & hips & bunched up terribly. Very uncomfortable. But the sturdiness & material appeared to be very good. Hey ... trial & error.

Honest Review 5-Star+
Honest review, Big guy with a long over due umbilical hernia repair. I wish there was a 6 Star system. Amazing product, literally holds everything in even when the abdominal wall has been perforated. The support and Quality of this product is 6 star as well.. Breathable and quite comfortable to wear until your surgery. but teal talk.. i came home after working all day (Big box Retail Store GM) and just wanted to take it off... now... after the shower.. that sucker really helps your support so much.. i found myself putting it right back on until bed. you quickly feel yourself forgetting you're even wearing it. **update 1 STAR REMOVED FOR IT CURLING BADLY AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM.

Hernia belt
Seems like good quality material the velcro hold is strong I got this for my goddaughter today is her first day wearing it, I'll find out when she comes in from work how well it worked for her, it had nice stretch to it when I put it on her this afternoon, it seemed to fit well. I hope this works for her. I'll do a follow-up review.

Smaller around than advertised
This is several inches around by 4 to 5 inches. Was bought to replace a different one that was slightly small, this one is label 5 inches bigger . Yet it's smaller than other one. Completely wasted a day on item.
