Having replaced an aging laptop with a new one I then needed a new bag. My old one was from my days as a sports journalist with a bigger laptop and much more to carry around so, now retired, I needed something small, not too flashy or trendy, pleasing on the eye and large enough to also carry mouse, charging lead, a power bank and pens and a notebook - old habits die hard.This fits the bill perfectly. The leather looks and feels like leather and seems good quality while the canvas is softer than you might expect but still feels strong and durable. It also looks and feels like an old friend that has served you well for years,.Obviously, after only a couple of weeks, this is only the impression the product gives rather than experience of use, but that being said, the stitching and construction seems to be of high quality, with no loose ends or threads anywhere and everything finished to a high standard from brass rivets holding the straps to the solid inner zips and everything - bag, pockets, sleeve and so on is - all nicely lined.The bag comes with two large outer pockets which are secured by the top cover which in turn is secured by four strong magnetic catches - the heavy duty buckles being decorative rather than operative. The magnetic catches do seem to provide a strong closure though and need effort to open - not excessively so but enough to make the bag secure.Once you get into the habit of closing the top two fasteners, which effectively seal the top of the pockets, before the two fasteners below the buckles – which you see as the logical fasteners – than the bag is held securely closed by four strong magnets.The outer pockets are each large enough to take a thick paperback to give an idea of size.Inside there is a zipped pocket set in the front of the bag which would be useful for documents, passports and so on, and there are two large envelope pockets which could take something the size of a large mobile phone or power bank. There are also two slim pockets which are useful for pens.The main body, the cavity of the bag is the full width and three or four inches wide so can take books, a telescopic brolly, change of underwear . . . whatever you need to take with you.Which brings us to the reason anyone would buy the bag in the first place, the pocket for a laptop. The pocket is padded on the inside wall, not so much on the outside but there is lining and a thick canvas outer wall with leather reinforcing in the corners so there is some degree of protection and as that is the side which is not exposed in use it should not be a problem - and people do tend to be extra careful when carrying laptop bags.The pocket fits my laptop, a 14in Acer Swift 5, comfortably so should manage a 14in with a wider bezel without too much difficulty,The laptop is held in place with a wide elasticated strap fastened with Velcro and the whole inner bag is closed at the top with a fairly substantial zip with a leather pull, which is a nice touch.There are a number of nice touches such as a thank you card inside and the bag arrives in its own large cotton bag tastefully emblazoned with Vaschy, something you might expect in bags costing 10 times or more, but not from what is essentially, at this price range, still a budget bag, especially for leather, even if it does not look or feel budget.It can be carried with the strong, old-fashioned, briefcase style leather handle, or there is a wide, adjustable, webbing shoulder strap with two hefty, spring, fastening clips.I bought at a 10 per cent discount, which makes it even better value but, even at full price, if you are looking for a solid, strong attractive bag for a laptop and accessories with a look of understated, traditional class this is well worth a look.

Just received my messenger bag a couple of hours ago, so can’t review it on use yet, but initial impression ? Superb ! Vaschy obviously care about their product, and thought has gone into its design, materials, and construction. The thick cow hide and strong canvas are top quality, and the points where the grab handle and shoulder strap join the bag are well stitched and riveted. They ain’t coming off ! This bag is designed for heavy duty. I’ve got the 14” bag and my 11” surface pro nestles comfortably inside with plenty of room to spare. My only criticism is that the laptop compartment lacks sufficient protective padding on the outer side, but that doesn’t dull my liking of this bag. It’s wonderfully vintage looking like it’s been knocking about since the 50’s and not heavy being only partly leather. Very happy so far !!

It has plenty of space for what I need it for. I like the easy fastening. Good value for money.

This is a really nice big spacey bag. I went for the 14.5 inch one and as a woman it's definitely a good size, I feel the 16 inch one would have been too big for me. It has a great number of pockets, is sturdily built and the strap is thick and comfortable. I keep being amazed by just how much I can happily get in there.I've yet to truly test the waterproofing of the canvas of the bag, but seems so far so good.

Le sac est livré emballé dans un tote bag, avec deux cartes de remerciements, de conseils d'utilisation etc. D'un point de vue packaging, c'est donc un sans-faute pour un produit à ce prix.J'avais peur concernant le travail du cuir, car il est compliqué de lui donner un aspect usé artificiellement. Et ce dernier est très bien rendu! L'avantage étant qu'il n'en deviendra que plus beau avec le temps.Les rangements sont assez nombreux, & contrairement à de nombreux commentaires, j'ai trouvé l'espace largement suffisant. J'y loge sans soucis un carnet de note, une sacoche, un parapluie et une bouteille d'eau.Là où le sac devient particulièrement agréable, c'est grâce à ses boutons pression aimanté. Nul besoin de le sangler, ces derniers permettent de l'ouvrir et de le fermer très rapidement.Enfin, seul bémol, mais juste pour chipoter: la sangle, bien que large et confortable, aurait sans doute gagnée à être plus dans le thème, & un peu vieillie. Mais c'est sans doute quelque chose d'aisément personnalisable, & nul doute que pour ce prix il est inenvisageable d'ajouter une sangle en cuir.Je suis non seulement très satisfait de mon achat mais également très reconnaissant que l'on vende un aussi chouette produit à ce prix raisonnable.

Il ne ressemble pas beaucoup à la photo du site car il manque vraiment de rigidité mais outre ça et bien j'en suis super content!! Ça fait peut-être 2/3ans que je l'ai et il est top!!! Une bonne solidité un joli look et il viellit bien! Manque peut-être un peu de place dedans mais sinon rien à redire

Muy bonito, se ve todo de calidad por el precio. Es espacioso y cómodo. Recomiendo hidratar el cuero, yo le puse grasa de caballo y cambió el aspecto (más oscuro) y además que se preserva mejor.

Le sac est de plutôt bonne qualité, mais il est plus petit quand dans la description ( 34x27cm environ)De plus, il n’a résisté qu’un an et demi avant que le tissu ne se déchire autour de l’attache de la bandoulière.Cela doit être dû au fait que je l’utilisais tous les jours pour aller au lycée, et que je le chargeais beaucoup.Le cuir est très beau, il ne s’est pas abîmé, et a résisté à la pluie plusieurs fois.C’est un très beau sac, mais il n’est pas parfaitement adapté pour les cours: la fermeture ne se ferme plus au dessus de 2 trousses, une pochette et 3 cahiers, et il est trop petits pour des journées chargées (au maximum, je peux mettre 2 trousses et 7 cahiers environ, mais sans fermer la fermeture)
