Used previously for brambles/tree trunk so ordered again for stubborn weeds in grass that other grass-weed killers didn't even touch. Kills everything, so need to be careful especially if you value your lawn/borders. We're going to replace ours so weren't too bothered about the bare patches.

My problem, like so many other reviewers, was Mare's Tail, a woody weed. The pictures, loaded in the wrong sequence!, were taken 3 weeks apart. I used a watering can and put a bag over the azalea shrub in the hope I wouldn't kill it. The Mare's Tail was killed, my shrub survived, it doesn't look healthy but it always looks this way. It did not damage my artificial lawn and if you look closely at AFTER photo you will see some grass survived.The only thing that annoys me is that I didn't find this product years ago.I unreservedly, enthusiastically recommend this product.

It worked as a root drench but wont do much on brambles as leaf spray. Although took weeks to get the result

SBK is the very best weed killer I know. It goes into the root of the plants and kills them. It is very effective to remove ivy and bracken from the flower beds and fences if it grows there. It's easy to use by spraying or in a watering can. I shall always have some of it in my shed.

I have a perennial horsetail problem in my lawn.I even glyphosated the entire lawn, put down weed membrane, new top soil, glyphosated again. Reseeded again and new lawn established. 4 months later Horsetail was back with a vengeance. Not sure if landscaper conned me with the membrane or top soil, but either way I'm back to square one.Tried this stuff as dedicated horsetail treatments are either expensive or kill grass. This is both cost effective and ok with grass.Apply, (I used a pump spray) and leave. I reapplied when it rained. Took a few weeks but horsetail is mostly dead.Do not mow until horsetail is dead as it could be spread, and bag/dispose of clippings and clean mower deck to prevent mower spreading the horsetail further.It'll probably be back next year but at least I have a simple and effective solution.
