Saves effort during practice. W orks well.
We used an Accubat Pro during practice last season. So for this season (different team), I wanted one for myself so I can practice with the team. These are great during practice - it doesn't take as much energy to keep on hitting grounders and popups for the kids. Obviously, these do not replace a real bat during practices completely. The fielders have to get used to the sound and motion of the bat so they can react faster - these will not help with that. But for constant fielding repetitions, I find these much easier to handle than a real bat - so I can hit the balls to two different areas of the field very quickly to keep kids moving. These are much lighter than Accubats. So I can handle the racket better than an Accubat but maybe I have to hit the ball with a bit more force to get it moving. Not sure if it's because these are lighter or the elastic is different. The grip is different too - Accubats have a simple foam grip. These have a tennis racket like grip with a rolled grip tape. It's good that you can replace the grip tape when it wears out. But it's not like you can't just wrap an Accubat's foam with a grip tape too. Accubat protects the elastic by weaving it through a inner plastic holes. This one just wraps it around a metal frame so when you have it in your back, the elastic around the metal frame is constantly rubbing against other things in your bag. So maybe in the long run, Accubat might be better at protecting the elastic? Not sure yet. In theory though, these racket will be easier to repair when the elastic goes bad - I can just re-wrap it around the frame. When Accubat's plastic hole breaks...there isn't much you can do.Overall, I like this. I've gotten used to it and I find it just as effective as Accubats that I used to use.

Tried to contact the seller after it broke with no response. Also cannot locate the manufacturer even though it says it has a two year warranty. No help from seller or manufacturer.

Product Failure
After less than a month of normal, intended use the strings snapped. When I did use it, the product was accurate and useful. I expected to be able to use for more than a month.

Great for teaching kids how to catch
I got this to help teach my son how to catch with a baseball mitt, I use the racket to simulate pop ups. The rackets are durable and a great value.

Not what I wanted
It’s just too short. Infield flys at best, and it hurts your wrist to accomplish that.

Broke after 30 hits.
The net is held onto the racket by a continuously looped elastic cord (as opposed to individually secured mount points). Once that cord takes a hit, it weakens and apparently breaks very easily.

Very sturdy.
The product is well packaged. This is a new challenge for me. When I opened the package, I was very excited and started using my new racket immediately. It took about ten minutes for me to get used to the new racket. This is an exercise that will allow you to focus on refinement and accuracy. The racquet is constructed of durable racquet string and metal frame. Very strong and durable. I like this racket.
