My husband & I were directed by our eye doctor to use these for our eye health, especially since we are getting up in years. We've been taking them for over 5 years now - don't know if they're helping - just assuming so since no degredation in our vision or eye health. Sometimes helping means you see "no change" rather than a loss.Even though I grewup in S. Florida, I was never one who liked to hang out in the sun & especially without sunglasses. I've worn them for over 65 years. I know this has been a major contribution to my eye health.Last but not least - We only get one set of eyes and they need to last our lifetime. Doing everything to protect and care for them is paramount in my opinion & AREDS
