We don't eat that much butter but we love it on toast in the mornings. There is nothing worse than saving butter in the fridge as it comes out like a brick and you cannot spread it. This dish allows us to place the butter inside and leave it in the kitchen so it is ready to spread when we need it. The pattern is neutral so it looks good (my wife worries about that aspect) and it does the job it's supposed to do. It's very easy to clean too, just put it in some soapy warm water and hey presto it looks like new. I don't know if it's dishwasher proof but then again you should not need to put it in the dishwasher.I would recommend this product and then get some butter from [...]via Waitrose...delicious! I have no link to these people, I just love the local produce and this is top of the list!

I have the Tea, Coffee, Sugar canisters. Also the salt and pepper pots and the cream jug.The butter dish is very practical and stylish. It holds a full 250g block of butter with room to spare.It keeps the butter at optimum temperature, thanks to the stoneware composition.I find that the seal is great and have no issues with it. In fact, the seal is very strong and does what it's supposed to do, it protects the butter inside the dish.The wooden Beech lid and seal are not suitable for the dishwasher, although the actual dish is safe to put in the dishwasher.This butter dish looks great both in the kitchen and on the table.

I love this butter dish and its subtle colours, but I'm disappointed it's not big enough to hold a large pack of Lurpak butter, hence I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other reviewers have mentioned that the stripes aren't quite straight, but this is part of the "rustic" look and is a feature on all the products in this range (I have other items that are the same). The lid fits well.

Nice product, only gave one star for the question "Easy to spread" as the butter dish cant be spread.

Rather disappointment with this butter dish, or should it be described as tub!The first point is that it is far to big for the standard 250g pack of butter by about a 3rd so the result is the butter moves around when trying to get at it resulting in the knife does not get a chance to get good access with the result the butter chunks you do get smear around the top of the dish/tub and getting onto the seal. The lid fits reasonably well and has a nice look although the plastic seal does look as if it would easily come off and get damaged.fortunately we have a dishwasher and this is OK for cleaning this product and the lid is wipe cleanable so all in all 4 stars for easy cleaning. Value is 2 stars due to price against functionality. This product has not really been well thought out although I would give it it's due as it looks good, but looks aren't everything.Would I buy it again - NoCan I recommend it - Not really.

This butter dish is really cute and does the job. It was inexpensive yet arrived well packaged and is complete. It is easy to clean and easy to open in the case of individuals who may have grip issues.It is not made clear that it is a second (paint marks, bump from production) maybe it’s just this one that was missed or maybe they are cheap because they are seconds 🤷‍♀️Overall I love it and the small imperfections add to it.

Nice butter dish. The deep dish design is better than a flat dish cover by a dome. However, the design is very poor. The rubber ring, an integral part of the lid design, has stretched after just a short time and therefore continually pops off the lid making it quite useless.

Given as a present to my elderly mother who protested she had everything she wanted, but happened to mention she had no butter dish for when people came to tea. It's a super one, very attractive in a country kitchen sort of way, and doesn't look easy to break or chip, although I wouldn't expect it to bounce like Pyrex on her hard floor. The word BUTTER is printed quite tastefully on the side, . Certainly big enough for a whole pack of butter - not always the case, amazingly.

Purchase this because of color, it matches my neutral granite beautifully! I’m happy that the word lead has a seal around it and fits nicely into the ceramic bottom. As pictured, very happy with purchase I am now buying other pieces to match!

Tengo salero-pimentero, tarro de utensilios, tarro de mantequilla (como salero de cocina) y plato reposacucharas y son preciosos. Me encanta el estilo y la suavidad de los colores. En cuanto a la calidad, llegó todo en perfectas condiciones y muy bien embalado. Lo tengo ya bastante tiempo y estoy encantada.El único fallo para mi gusto es que el salero pequeño solo tiene un agujero, en vez de 3 como tiene el pimentero.

Nice butter dish, holds a lot of butter. The top doesn't stay on very well. Not a big deal for us, as we don't need an air tight seal.

Acquistato per la mia dolce metà, ha quel simpatico tocco vintage che piace alle donne (e pure a me). Discreto e classico, un oggetto sfizioso rifinito bene e che ben figura sulla tavola. il prezzo giusto, la forma giusta. Può anche giacere nel frigorifero come portaburro elegante, poi lo tirate fuori e completa la vostra colazione, ad esempio, con stile ! A me piace un casino.
