Badly finished screw thread threatened whole project.
Purchased to replace a rusting B&Q shower rod that was a little less than a year old. I was surprised, having ordered (I thought) the 2m single pole, to receive this multi-part kit. Quality seems OK, the finish is good and the steel is a reasonable gauge.Fitting is simple but I'd suggest using a pipe cutter to trim the length if needed, a hacksaw will not make a good job of the end.My "gripe" was with the grub screws / wall fixing tapping's; Having attached the fixings to the wall, inserted the pole and tightened 3 out of 4 grub screws the tapping for the fourth had been badly finished and the thread was too wide. This meant having to remove the wall fixing and use the "spare". Had I been using the entire kit I'd have been "challenged".Let's see how this stands up to a bathroom environment, hopefully it ill be OK.

Great and easy to fit
Only issue was that the rail/pipe didn't fit into the wall wounts very well, they were very loose and caused the whole rail to sag quite a lot.(l guess this is what the ceiling hook/support is for) but I got around this by cutting a small bit of offcut in half to make 2 semi circle pieces and jammed them into the mounts with the pipes. No ceiling support need.

grub up
Hint to Croydex: since grub screws are hidden (face up) why not make them larger? Hint to buyers: these are supplied in two sizes, be sure to use the longer ones for the rod support connecting hole.

A good-looking, sturdy, affordable shower curtain rod.
The shower curtain rod is very sturdy, seems to be well-made, and is very easy to mount. It looks expensive. We installed it less than a week ago, so I have no idea how the chrome finish will stand up to humidity over time, but I am very pleased with the purchase.We ordered from Italy and the package arrived in less than 48 hours.

Not bad but not perfect
The ceiling to rail rod was too short by 8cm so I had to buy a separate rod that cost me £12.00 so not happy, it should have been longer so one could cut it down.
