The HUD is clear and bright and easily adjustable with a couple of tries. I followed the recommended speed adjustment and it worked perfectly. Very easy to use.

I recently purchased the Windshield Projection Heads-Up Display from Amazon with high hopes of enhancing my driving experience. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I encountered numerous issues with this product. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from wasting their hard-earned money on this subpar device.First and foremost, the installation process was a nightmare. The product claims to be easily fixable on the car dashboard, but in reality, it was quite the opposite. The mount provided was flimsy and did not securely hold the display in place. It would frequently fall off, making it extremely inconvenient and unsafe to operate while driving. I found myself constantly readjusting the device, which was both distracting and frustrating.Another major drawback of this Windshield Projection Heads Up Display was the lack of intuitive controls. One of the most basic functions, changing the units from kilometers per hour (KMH) to miles per hour (MPH), proved to be an unnecessarily complicated process. The instructions provided in the manual were unclear and failed to provide clear guidance on how to navigate the settings. It took me an unreasonable amount of time to figure it out, which only added to my growing dissatisfaction.Speaking of the manual, it was undoubtedly one of the worst I have ever come across. It lacked sufficient details and poorly explained the device's features and functionality. It felt like an afterthought, as if no effort was made to provide users with clear instructions on how to operate the product effectively. A well-written manual is crucial, especially for a device with intricate settings and features like this one.Furthermore, the overall quality of this Windshield Projection Heads Up Display was simply inadequate. The projection was blurry, making it difficult to read the information displayed on the windshield. Even after adjusting the focus, the image remained distorted, straining my eyes and causing unnecessary discomfort.Considering the myriad of issues I encountered, I strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of this Windshield Projection Heads Up Display. The poor quality, frustrating installation, confusing controls, and lackluster manual make it an absolute waste of money. Instead, invest in a more reputable and reliable heads-up display that will truly enhance your driving experience without the headaches.Save yourself the disappointment and opt for a different product. Your driving safety and overall satisfaction deserve a better choice than this one.

I shipped my car from the US to Central America and wanted to easily my speed on my windshield. This seemed like a great solution but it did not come with a strong adhesive to keep it in place.

I feel like my picture isn’t doing the product justice. This HUD definitely provides a clear and easy to read reflection in my windshield regardless of what time of day it is. As you can kind of see in the picture, I have a cowl hood, so there is a part of my windshield that the hood blocks anyway. I aimed the image at that part, so the image is not directly in front of my view of the actual road. (Honestly I’m glad I get to utilize that wasted windshield space now.) I had to buy a car charger with an on-off switch, because my cigarette lighter remains on even when my car is off; therefore, the HUD was staying on when I wasn’t using it.The speed is accurate enough for me. I didn't expect a GPS speedometer to be 100%, but it's pretty dang close.

not accurate at higher speeds. They should use a percentage offset instead of a fixed offset. My unit worked ok at speed lower than 35 but as the speed increases past that the unit become less and less accurate. Adding the offset is not fix since doing so corrects the higher speed but creates the same problem at lower speeds. Save your money. I'm sure every unit similar the this suffers some the same issue as many of these companies are using the same hardware and firmware.

Very accurate and I don’t have to connect to OBD reader!

Wanted the basic HUD with speed only. This little unit is perfect. I used velco to attach it to my dash so I could change the settings or remove if needed. I'm a nerd, so understanding the instructions on how to adjust the speed settings were easy, took about 20 seconds (nailed it on my first try). The HUD now shows the exact speed that my tablet and phone using WAZE were showing. If you use the window film, you have to rotate if until you find the best reflection (mine was vertical not horizontal). The cable is a little short, but I had an extra cord from a dash cam that fit , so everything worked out. Totally happy with my purchase.

its connected to your usb but not to OBDII or EUOBD

Even in areas where I thought satellite connections would not be possible, I never had any interruptions with the speed connectivity. Wish it came with multiple plastic mirrors for the Hud and the light had different colour options.

Works well. Reads 2-3 km high at higher speed. Have not yet tried adjusting settings. Happy with purchase.

It is out at higher speeds. Over 80km per hour it is 5km less. Over 100km it is 10 km out. But it consistent so you can judge and adjust as needed.
