Quality
Always buy makita equipment. Ease of use and the build are very good. Very light weight and great for garden pruning. Thanks.

Not great
Have a lot of cordless tools all makita and all great except this. Had it for a good while before using it and power was very poor don't think I can change it now so stuck with it. Maybe it was a dodgy one i don't know but will not be using it again just no good

Great for lighter duties... but!
Bought to help cut through some tough hedge stems and small tree branches which are too far away from house for mains power. I already have some other Makita tools using same battery so that worked fine. It's light and easy to use but it's not the most powerful thing in the world. Even with the correct "green wood" blades it was much tougher than I thought. branch diameters about 20-35mm and still killed 2 batteries in less than an hour. Probably great for cutting plasterboard holes and the like but it only JUST did what I wanted it to.

Handy
Will come in for those odd jobs

Not great
It's tiny, soon as I saw it I realised I wasted my money to a degree. I had to cut out a doorway in an old timber frame wall. Long story short I borrowed the plumbers. It cut through 18mm ply fine, 50mm timber it straight up stopped. It's a glorified plasterboard cutter now I guess.

Another great tool buy from makita
Being a builder and having a corded reciprocating saw I was in two minds about purchasing this item based on its performance. However I was pleasantly surprised. Another great tool buy from makita. Well worth the money and I find myself using it more due to the jigsaw function which allowed me to cut and fit kitchen worktops. Great tool
