Quite impressed
I was looking for a small-sized tin of satin top-coat stain to refresh some mahogany-stained skirtings and architraves in our kitchen/utility. I had used Sadolin some time ago in other rooms but noticed this product on an internet search. Much cheaper, handy sizes and great and easy coverage. Happy to recommend.

Did the job
But wouldn't buy again. I always buy Johnstone stains but couldn't get the colour and not Prime. I wanted to sort out a wooden fence quickly while dry and before my rose took off. It did the job ok and dried quickly but a bit expensive and didn't cover as well as Johnstone.

Colour is a bit orange.
Nice and easy to use, I gave my patio door cill a couple of coats and it looks good. Brush washed out in water which is a bonus.

Wasn't impressed by the delivery
Bought this paint for my mum was great to see a nice low price.I put 3 stars because of the deliveryI bought this 4 days before the delivery date so I had enough time to sort things out to be in for the delivery.Then the day comes & it says that it would be with me before 8pm well that came so I clicked on here & it said that I could get a refund the next following day.The nexted morning it turned up.The tracking wasn't that good.

Good quality wood stain
True colour. Quality of stain excellent. Painted on easily. Used a grain tool over the paint which left a wooden look finish. Just about right thickness. Hardly any smell. Good value for money

Good coverage
Pretty good stuff. Decent coverage. Bear in mind… this is a wood stain. NOT a paint. So it’s slightly translucent and will not give a ‘solid colour finish’.
