I was seeking a unique quality toilet paper holder for the renovation of a bathroom in an 1885 carriage house located on my property. This caught my eye. It had that touch of old fashioned flair I was seeking.The holder has a nice sturdy feel and is beautifully made. It was easy to install. I have had no issues with the paper catching on the ornate backing as described by some reviewers. It helps to position the brackets away from the back and tighten the screws on each side. This allows the paper to freely roll.

I always like finding ways to make the normal things in life a little more exciting, and this fits the bill. It's hefty so I recommend sturdy wall anchors.

This is very cute and matches perfectly with my bathroom reno. Unfortunately, it is very poorly designed. When trying to pull some paper from the roll the moveable arms caused the roll to be pressed down on the backside and then the paper gets torn up from the pressure as it rolls against the filigree design. This is what happens when you attempt to pull down on the piece you are attempting to pull. Or if you attempt to pull straight out on the paper to avoid that downward pressure, the entire roll pops off of the two arm hooks. I have thought about removing the arms on either side and placing them back on upside down. This way when you pull out on the paper it will lift the roll away from the wall and the hooks would do a better job of holding the roll without it falling out.

Looks great, buy it! Just make sure to tighten the little nuts on the arms to desired position and arm will stay put.

Does not hold toilet paper straight most of the time because no matter how tight I get the bolts, it still wants to fall. Also a bit awkward to use. Otherwise very solid and heavy and beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. Not good! Paid high money for this holder. The screw to hold the paper holder doesnt stay! Impossible to secure it. Worse is that I bought it too much in advance for our new bath and now I am stuck with a super expensive but useless holder. So frustrated…Giving one star for seller because they knew and still sent it!
