#5 meat grinder sausage stuffing disc and knife. Fits Hightower Kitchen, Chefs Choice other size #5

I used these on my Bosch grinder, which is made to attach to my Bosch compact mixer. They work great. I was worried about the size, of which was not stated to my satisfaction, until I decided to look closely on my grinder for a number that turns out to designate size. Low and behold the casting did have a small number 5 on it so these were the correct plate and blade. I did have one slight issue with the plate. It fit the grinder but required a bit of force to get it installed. This turned out to be because the plate was a touch egg shaped, and not a perfect circle. I solved this problem by using a belt sander to remove the slight bump, and it dropped in easily. If you lack a belt sander, or a friend who has one, a file would work just as well. The minor bump is the reason that I did not rate this as 5 stars, although it is 5 stars now after I fixed the defect in manufacturing.

Works very well for making summer sausage! I used to use a large hold plate but would occasionally get stoppages in it from the volume I was trying to put out. With this plate, it flows nice and smooth. In addition to that, the new blade never hurts!
