Fab colour it’s a gel nail vanish so u need the right equipment to get its try worth but would use again

Firstly you should know I am not a pro at gel nails, I started to do gels as I use strong chemicals at work that tend to strip normal nail varnish and causes my nails to become brittle and snap.So far I am in love with this polish. There's a deep red/purple base with red glitter specs and it creates a lovey colour depth to the nails.I've only had this on for a few days so far but I've had no chipping/lifting at all. I cured it for 1 minute under my LED lamp as the texture of the nail varnish is a bit difficult to work with and I needed to ensure it was fully cured. It's a bit thick and you have to wipe off a lot of the varnish on the brush to get a nice thin coat. Also because of the texture it's hard to get an even coverage of the glitter. But I'd recommend at least 3 (maybe even 4) coats as thin as you can get them, as I have some patches of only the base colour with no glitter as it is a little difficult to work with.Other than that I think it's great and I'm in love with it, it's perfect for valentines/Christmas and I'd definitely buy again!

I have a few of these glitter Bluesky shellacs and have seen mixed reviews on here so thought it worth commenting.These colours have a lot of glitter in them and are really gloopy, so you need to apply them very carefully in thin layers, curing with UV inbetween each one. The colour and depth of glitter builds up really nicely and 3 thin coats looks fab.I was concerned about how it may come off, but after 2 weeks wear it soaked off just as well if not better than the more expensive brand - the key is keeping the acetone in contact with the nail with a little pressure - pieces of cotton wool pad held in place with foil works well for me. You absolutely must use a base coat though - I had to use a standard basecoat (not a shellac one) the first time I used one as I had ran out but that worked just as well in protecting the nail but you will get better results with a shellac/gel basecoat.Put it on too thick or without a base coat will result in a mess otherwise these super-glittery colours are brilliant :-)

Love this colour! Sparkly and rich. Took three thin coats as with most gel polishes. Cured for 60 seconds each layer. Lasted without chipping for two solid weeks and I am NOT easy on my nails - gardening, washing up, submerging in cleaning solution, even chopping 500 apples! Not a chip. Changed after 2 weeks as could see growth at bottom and wanted a change. Made my usually floppy nails strong and is helping them grow. Used the soak off method with acetone in a manicure bowl placed in a tray of warm water (warm from the tap not boiled or you'll remove you whole hand!) and after ten minutes soak it came off easy. Rubbed with acetone to take off any residue and then buffed and oiled nails after. No problems.Will use seller again as product arrived within two days even when I selected the free delivery - managed to get sparkly nails done a week earlier than I thought!Colour would look fab with a gold or green glitter accent nail for Christmas!

I love these colours! The red is definitely my favourite of the two & they go really well together. 3 coats is ok but 4 is far better & needs checking under a lamp or phone torch before applying top coat to make sure the glitter has spread out evenly (a mistake I made the 1st time and only saw under natural light). Perfect for Christmas but great at anytime of the year. There is no gift box as shown in the photos, nor was there a colour indicator on top of the bottles which was disappointing but otherwise, I'm happy.

I really like bluesky gel polishes.I started doing my own gel around six months ago- i bought a kit which included 8 gel colours (different brand) which cost £18 per bottle. luckily the kit was discounted as part of a web deal as i found the gel colours were really poor quality- they would crack, peel and chip after onlya few days.I had a look an amazon for new polishes and happened upon bluesky gel and shellac- i was wary as the price was much cheaper than the other brands on the market but I bought a couple of colours to test it out. BEST DECISION EVER.the bluesky colours have all lasted a minimum of two weeks without any signs of chipping, peeling or cracking- the only reason i have had to take the colour off is because of regrowth and the desire for a change.Pretty Poison is a nice forresty metallic green- love it
