Cotswold Country Hats Explorer Brown Leather Bush Hat from (62cm XXL)

My father-in-law is going on holiday to Antigua again. He tasked me with finding him a hat with a nice brim to keep the sun off and protect him in the sudden 'rain showers' out there when you can't see your hand at arm's length; also, a chin strap was highly desirable.He opened this and was immediately overjoyed. The look, features, fit, SPF factor, strap... everything about it was perfect, and getting all that for under £20 was just the (substantial) cherry on top.The only downside he could find was that he didn't have it the last time he went.Very happy recipient; if it was lost or stolen, would buy exactly the same one to replace it; very highly recommended.

This is the second hat of this type I have had and I'm more pleased with the quality of this brand than the other (different) brand I previously had.Very happy with the Cotswold explorer hat.

As someone with a large head (over 62cm), I find it ridiculously hard to find hats which fit me comfortably. I'm glad to say this one is absolutely up to the job. I bought the XXL size, and it's very comfortable and looks great. I've used it primarily as a sun-hat in fairly hot areas (37+ degrees C), and the brim is wide enough to keep the sun out of my eyes. I've also worn it in the rain and had no problems.

I've had my eye on this hat for a while & finally decided to buy it, it arrived today & fits perfectly. It's very comfortable & looks so good, if your in two minds as to where to get it or not, I'd say go for it I'd say to go for it.

Cheaply made and uncomfortable to wear. Returned.

On opening the box the first thing you notice is the nice fresh smell of leather.The hat was well packed and surrounded by several layers of tissue paper.Obviously I haven't worn this hat out in the elements yet, but first impressions are good.There is a handy chin strap which is very useful for windy days, or if wearing on a boat.The strap can easily be taken off if you don't like this feature, since it is not sewn in to the headband, but instead is tied into two leather loops put there specifically for the purpose.Inside the hat there is a cotton headband about 1 inch wide - again a nice feature.On the outside there is decorative woven band which can be easily detached by undoing the poppers.So based on first impressions I would score it 10/10.I'm not sure why some people have left negative comments on Amazon. Maybe they know something I have yet to find out?If I end up with a brown face after being out in the rain, or the hat turns to mush, then of course I will revise my comments, but so far so good.Well done Cotswold Country Hats!

It fits but not well. Could do with addition depth

Good fit. Not the best quality I've encountered, but given the price, this is an excellent purchase.Keeps the sun off my bald head and doesn't make me look silly.

Très beau chapeau,la taille est parfaite.Il sens bon le cuir,très belle couleur ainsi que la forme et protège très bien.

tout est dans le titre, déçus par la qualité mais sans doute conforme au prix..dommage tout de même...car c'était pour remplacer un chapeau de même forme mais perdu..
