The Book of Boba Fett Junior Novel

A reminder for Disney and LucasFilms to do novels for the other Star Wars Disney+ shows
My list of likes that first, I did enjoy the TV show's behind the scene where the director revealed that he filmed the finale in his moving around signature, second I like reading the online Screen Rant articles that reveal things that I didn't know before, third I enjoy reading Grogu's and Din's reunion, fourth and final like is that I am starting to see that the Battle of Mos Espa is planting seeds which will pay off after the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger, in the other Star Wars TV shows, and that Star Wars movie that will bring all shows together. My biggest dislikes are the narration is a blend of first and third person perspectives but more on the third perspectives and not enough time to have the readers read and go deeper into what the characters are thinking individually, like for an example we did not get to know about what Grogu was thinking about when Luke gives him to options. In Behind the Scenes of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+ the filmmakers revealed that Luke understands what it’s like and the importance of being with your love ones, that is what makes him a great mentor to Grogu; so he was logically helping and supporting him, secondly the Insider magazine interview Star Wars and they reveal that it’s a combination of “it a path that Grogu isn’t meant to take with Luke, inspired by the movie Paper Moon, from Lone Wolf and Cub the dad gives his infant son a choice between the quest for vengeance or ritual suicide to return with his newly deceased mother, and in The High Republic Era this was a clever way of becoming a Jedi Knight.I am also writing this petition as a way to get Disney's and LucasFilm's attention so that they could make more Star Wars Books from The Mandalorian Season 3, Ahsoka, Kenobi, Andor Season 1 and 2, and the upcoming Skeleton Crew TV Show.My verdict is that the story is compelling, a chapter in the larger plan that the Star Wars filmmakers plan before COVID-19, and a good place to write a petition to get the official's attention.

A Decent Novelization Of The Boba Fett Spin off Show
Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett - The Junior Novel by Joe Schreiber is a Novelization based off the Star Wars spin off show “The Book Of Boba Fett”. This novelization takes the entire first season of the Disney+ live action Star Wars spin-off show and condenses it down to a short 240 pages of pretty straightforward prose.Set a few years after Return Of the Jedi, The famous bounty hunter Boba Fett has abandoned his ways as a bounty hunter, and taken over the criminal underworld on the planet of Tatooine. When his new position is threatened by a rival criminal syndicate Boba Fett will have to team up with new and old allies to defend Tatooine from this criminal threat.I have NEVER read something as faithfully adaptable as this book. It basically was a word-for-word complete clone of its live-action adaptation. Joe Schrieber almost copied everything word for word in the book, and it almost begs the question. Did it offer anything new? Well… Not really. One of the most exciting things about novelizations of TV and movies is the chance to learn details that are only shown but not described in the show. The novelization speaks from the point of view of the characters. And we usually get to hear their inner voices and perspectives. Unfortunately, this book really doesn’t do that and I basically re-watched the BOBF, but just in my mind.I was hoping we’d get a name for the horrifying monster that assaulted Boba and the Tusken child at the beginning of the series. I was also hoping to get a little more insight into Boba’s transformation from a cold-blooded killer into a “compassionate” crime boss. These wishes were not granted and I read the book feeling slightly cheated that I didn’t gain any new insights or got a behind-the-scenes experience. Very disappointing to say the least. This was a young reader, and although it didn’t enhance the show, it does provide a fast read that allows you to basically get the full story in roughly a few hours. (Depending on how fast a reader you are.)As someone who is obsessed with the lore of Star Wars, I dug at any scraps they would give me. I walked away with the name of the cool scanner Mando uses on that ring station to find his kin. Big deal. I really wanted more. Yet, this novelization did what it set out to do. Adapt a TV-show word for word for younger readers to enjoy. I’m not going to complain as I am hopeful for The Book of Boba Fett Season 2. You can certainly skip this book and look forward to the set-in-stone Mandalorian Season 3. Perhaps Boba will live on in that incarnation.Overall, While it does faithfully adapt the TV show. It’s doesn’t really add much to the over Star Wars galaxy. As novelizations go, this is a fairly uncomplicated one, but at the same time it’s nice to have a way to relive these story again that doesn’t involve pressing play button.
