Horses for courses
Good gadget for delicate or fiddly things. Too springy for me on arrival, but my husband forced the closed end harder together to get the right tension and now they are perfect. They are the right size for things up to the size of a basic tomato, but would struggle to hold anything heavier or with a larger surface area. Excellent for getting pickled onions or beetroot out of a jar. Definitely good value for money.Lightweight and doesn't need great pressure to close - good for people with weak hands (after the modification).Horses for courses and this filled a gap in my utensil jar.

Warning - Sharp Metal Edges - Edges Not Rounded Off
Not sure if this is a one off the tongs i recieved had very sharp metal edges. These edges normally should be rounded off, but were not in this case. Looks like a finishing step was missed. The edges were sharp enough to cut hands in you were not carefull. Rather than return item, I applied a file and wire wool which fixed the issue.

A REASONABLE PURCHASE. CERTAINLY VERY PRACTICAL.
This was a little more flimsy than I expected it to be. However, it is light and pliant and can be used readily for most items. You do not have to be strong to manage to pick up things with these kitchen tongs. Light and useful especially for the elderly. Reasonable price.

Snapped in 2 after used twice
I bought this as I have found it hard to find a steel tongs - most are plastic now. delighted to find this cheap and cheerful but after 2 uses, it snapped in 2. Very strange. Lesson learned :-)

Great food tongs for both cooking and serving as they ...
Great food tongs for both cooking and serving as they are the perfect size, very durable, very cheap and an amazing value for the money. I recommend it for anyone who doesn't have food tongs in their kitchen as it's a must have and a great addition.

Much too springy
Far too springy. I found them incredibly difficult and uncomfortable to use. Storage is also a problem because they just spring out as wide as they can go. You have to keep the packaging outer label on them to keep them safely stored away

Just what I needed.
No good if you're looking for something to use on a bar b q or something really sturdy, but great for light weight stuff like bacon or sausages. Don't know how long they'll last but at the price will just get another set.
