Kingfisher Self Assembly Garden Arch For Climbing Plants & Roses

Thoroughly impressed with its quality, especially considering its affordable price. It was easy to assemble, and once in place, it has provided a sturdy and attractive support structure for my climbing roses. The arch adds a charming focal point to my garden while also serving a practical purpose. My roses have been thriving, thanks to the support provided by the arch, and I'm delighted with how well they're doing. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable yet effective garden arch for their climbing plants and roses.

The arch is very easy to build and it only took me and my 8-year-old son about 10 minutes. The structure seems relatively stable, but be careful when you put it into the ground, as it seems easy to bend. I bought two and cable-tied them together, which made them pretty sturdy. It has been in our allotment for about 4 weeks now, and other than the screw heads going a little bit rusty, it seems to be holding up well.

Very easy to assemble as the poles are grouped and labelled (a/b/c), making it easy to follow the assembly diagram.The arch is not sturdy enough to withstand a bit of wind, so you would have to sink the base poles further into the flower bed or lawn than you think. Overall, it's a good size and looks good in the garden.

Bought these to grow beans and other climbers. Happy with solidity, they have withstood some strong winds. The beans progress however is another story thanks to the sparrows!

Arrived quickly and was perfect for what we needed. It’s great as you can alter the size to your needs and it bends slightly for an even better fit. Great!

It was fairly easy to assemble, some space is needed to lie everything out. It took me about 20 minutes on my own to build, I used a power drill for quickness. I also ended up buying 2 and then cable tied them together for extra sturdiness

**Update**: I feel I must update my review of this garden arch, because less than 1 1/2 years after we bought it, it has completely rusted through.This came to light when part of it snapped on a windy day.On attempting to repair it with some extra parts we had, I realised that every single part was rusted, from screws to bars, etc.I couldn't unscrew it because the screws were so bad, but was able to gently snap all the parts with my hands, they were so flimsy.As a result, I cannot recommend this product to anyone - downgrading my rating to 1 star.Original review below, for reference:The arch itself is ok.Not amazing, thin pipes, but does the job.We were a bit worried that it would be shorter than the old arch, but in fact it is both taller and wider and it still has the required 40 cm of pipe going into the ground.I would agree with other reviewers: don't push the pipes into the ground or they may bend; make sure you dig proper holes for it and recover the soil after.It's in a fairly windy spot and it's holding fine at the moment.I can see that it will be better once it has stuff growing up it though.Bit of a saga with this seller though (Garden Selections).The first arch we received had the screws loose in the box (rather than in the included sealed bag) so 2 screws were missing and it could not be completed.We therefore left an answer phone message asking for the remaining screws.A few days later, I received a damaged plain envelope with a hole in it and 1 screw in it: obviously failed to make it through the Royal Mail's sorting machines.However: No note, no apology, not even a courtesy slip.I emailed them via the Amazon site and got a prompt response the same day saying they would send more out immediately.A week later, I emailed again having received nothing and again got a reply straight away (with an apology, I should say).This time they said they would send a complete replacement arch and we should not worry about returning the old one.The following day I received 2 complete arches within an hour of each other, one sent by post and the other by courier!I was able to retrieve 2 screws from one of the packages ...although it was a black galvanised screw, when the original one had plain, brass looking ones.I am now the proud owner of 3 arches - or should that be 2 3/4 arches?NB: I have noticed that the original screws are already starting to rust, so I may replace the rest with the black ones when I get round to it.Overall: they managed to redeem themselves eventually, but once again my feeling of not trusting 3rd party sellers on Amazon has been reinforced!

Je ne suis pas sure qu’elle nous dure toute la vie mais cette arche fait le job et j’ai été agréablement surprise car elle ne fait pas « toc ».A noter qu’elle a traversé sans problème 2 tempêtes qui ont balayé la France (ciara et dennis)Le montage est simple et se fait en 1/4 d’heure.Nous l’avons fixée en l’enfonçant dans le sol.Je pense que l’on en prendra une 2eme .

le mie rose ringraziano, l'arco che ho montato le ha sollevate da terra e adesso sono molto più belle. L'arco è leggerino, i tubi sono sottili, ma per quello che devo fare va benissimo, sorregge molto bene le mie due rose rosse e rosa. L'ho piantato profondamente nel terreno e ha molta stabilità, facile da montare e fatto abbastanza bene per resistere alle intemperie. Ottimo acquisto.

Quería un arco para boda a un precio barato.Arco perfecto parea ese cometido,nos pareció muy alto pero quitamos una altura y quedó perfecto.Lleva sujeciones y ,para lo que lo queríamos nos fue genial. Buen resultado calidad precio.El montaje fue bastante fácil.

Very pleased with this product. Came faster than anticipated (it did take a while - ships from Germany). I installed it over a chain link fence. Some of the arbors I looked at came assembled, so I would have had to remove several of the cross supports. With this Arch, we were able to place the cross supports through the chain link fence. Exactly what I was looking for.
