The media could not be loaded. I have had two knee replacements, the first 9 months ago and the latest three weeks ago. This item in invaluable as far as I am concerned as part of two types of treatment that I employ. The first is the application of a product known as bio oil, which I use twice a day when my newly treated knee is exposed to air and I wear shorts. This product is excellent for when I am wearing trousers when I find that my trousers irritate my three week old scar, which is still in the process of healing.I have attached a dreadful video, showing both of my knees and the result on my right after 9 months of undertaking this form of care. I have found that it is suitable on my hairyish legs for use three or four times each length; the manufacturer claims more is possible, but the length of the roll should be sufficient for the 6-8 weeks I am likely to need it for. According to the manufacturer, you need to slowly increase the length of time that you wear the product for; I tend to wear it for up to 12 hours a day without discomfort.How good is it for scars? Well my skin is 68 years old and the skin covering knees tends to be drier but after 9 months, scar on my right knee is barely noticeable and I feel that the combination of care I follow, particularly protecting the delicate scar tissue when wearing trousers produces good results.

I've been using scar tape for a few weeks now, and have just added this to my stash.This comes on the standard plastic sheet, but has slightly increased dimensions to the other brands I've used, which is a real positive! It is 4.6cm wide compared to the standard 4cm in other boxes I've seen and that gives much better coverage for healing. Is it additionally a 4m long strip, compared to 3m in most other packs - these two are real winners for a recommendation!The material itself is a standard silicone strip, and is definitely as good quality as other packs I've used.I can't comment on the actual successful healing any strips give yet, as I've only been using them a few weeks and also need to giver a review within a month - and I'm looking at 6-9 months before any real healing of old scars takes place. I'll be back up update you in Summer 2024!A definite recommendation over other scar tape packs for the quality and increased width and length of the roll!

The information is not especially clear that the medical benefit is limited to NEW injuries or Keloid points rather than providing benefit to existing points on your skin.They are an established product for assisting with the healing of new injuries and the current price consider to be reasonable. They are an expensive product generally.Perhaps best as an emergency product to be kept ready for use by families as soon as it is needed.

Good adhesion, and doesn't come off easily. In fact I think it would have probably stayed on in the shower. It also did not come off when walking in jeans as I currently have some on my thigh and went for a walk - also didn't come off overnight either. You can re-use this stuff, though note if you do that then don't throw away the backing you peel off otherwise you'll just have to stick it on the bathroom worktop until using again. You CAN actually re-use it and I did try this, but I found the problem is sometimes it sticks to itself if you're not careful with it, and after 2-3 days goes a but messy, so I'd not use more than 3 times personally. Depending on your views over whether you mind the expense or whether you hate wasting might depend on whether you want to re-use at all.It needed quite a pull to get it off, so I'd suggest pulling slowly downwards in line with the skin and holding the skin down behind it as you go. Obviously NEVER use on wounds or scars that are not fully healed!I've tried another brand and it appears to be the exact same stuff, and at first I thought this was pricey, until I realised you get nearly 4m (as opposed to 1.5m for the previous one i tried). But I've noticed that prices really vary on this stuff.It comes in a nicely packaged box with instructions on usage on the outside. You can use between 6 to 24 hrs a day for 3 to 6 months. I started off wearing overnight and had on for about 10rs as put it on before i went to bed and had no issues with wearing for that long.From what I've read the longer you use it the better it will work. And I've also read that this can help with wrinkles, as silicone patches are also sold for wrinkle reduction, such as forehead, neck etc, but that the results are short lived when using for this reason and apparently stop as soon as you stop using every day. So I do wonder whether, that if these do actually work for scars (and its far too early to say whether this will) whether any effects will also be shortlived also, or whether they help reduce scars permanently. I guess only time will tell.So for now I can't give more than 3 stars. I hope you at least found this useful though.

Utilisé sur une cicatrice tibia sous le genou, suite à une intervention chirurgicale pour retirer vis et plaques.Adhérant très bien sur la peau. Facilite la cicatrisation. Résiste asez bien à l'eau d'une douche.

J'ai eu une cicatrice assez visible due à une opération chirurgicale précédente, et j'ai décidé d'essayer ce produit pour voir s'il pouvait aider. Le rouleau de 4 mètres de pansement en silicone est très pratique, car il peut être découpé à la taille nécessaire pour couvrir la cicatrice. Il adhère bien à la peau sans causer d'irritation ni de démangeaisons, ce qui est un énorme avantage. J'ai utilisé ce pansement pendant quelques jours, en le portant régulièrement pendant la journée. J'ai remarqué que ma cicatrice devenait progressivement plus plate et moins visible. Bien sûr, cela prend du temps, mais les résultats sont là...

Very easy to use. Too soon to see an affect but already make me feel better
