Lovely doll, hairline a bit cheap though
The fashionista range seems to have some cheaper end dolls that aren't as good quality generally, however this one is pretty decent. The wheelchair is well made and also has a clamp to hold the doll in place. It has real rubber wheels and the seat is textured to have a more realistic appearance. There are no handles for other dolls to push her..so this doll will need to push herself! The ramp is also a great feature for dolls houses. The doll is fully poseable as well. Her feet are a bit too pliable, so she wouldn't be able to balance standing, which I suppose doesn't really matter for this type of design.I wasn't overly impressed with the hairline- seems a bit thin and patchy, so at certain angles you can see right down to the plastic head.Overall a great doll though, & offers a unique accessory for Barbie. She will be a great addition to the collection!

Wonderful set, love it
Lovely set. Similarly to the prosthetic leg barbie, we bought this to normalise wheelchairs in our family and daughter's friends prior to sibling's wheelchair arriving.Present very well received, daughter over the moon! The wheelchair has brakes and comes with a pink ramp (useful for wheeling up into campervan). The wheels turn well. There is also a support that Barbie's waist clicks into so that she sits upright in the chair properly and doesnt fall out during play.We love that all the arms and legs joints are fully articulated so that Barbie can stand and walk when she feels able to.I stupidly took the plastic string off her arm that was holding her little yellow watch on. It won't stay on anymore so I might glue it on before it gets lost. Shoes surprisingly havent fallen off once even with their open backs.Barbie has a very trendy outfit and super long hair, apologies it's such a mess in this photo. We love her and are tempted to buy the other wheelchair Barbie set available in this new range. Although they have the exact same outfit and colour wheelchair which is such a shame.

Great Toy!
This was a much asked for toy. My daughters often watch videos on Youtube featuring Barbies/Elsa and Anna dolls and regularly they involve a visit to the doctor's. My daughters tend to play out these scenarios then. While these are short term injuries for the dolls I think it helps to normalise wheelchair use in both short and long term situations for my daughters. My daughters have the Barbie Care Clinic also, so this wheelchair is used a lot when playing with that. The doll that comes with the wheelchair has joints in her arms, legs, ankles so can sit comfortably in the wheelchair, there is a little holder to go around her waist that she sits into. She is dressed in modern clothes, her top is one of my kids favourite Barbie clothes and she wears jeans and runners. The wheelchair is well made, we have it a good few months now and it hasn't suffered any damage during all the playing.

Such a pretty Barbie, but poor finish Mattel
I was surprised at how large the wheels on Barbie’s wheelchair was on first getting it out of the packaging (please see my photo with a standard mug next to Barbie), but was impressed with the detail. Barbie has the same face as the pink top yoga Barbie, though this one has gorgeous very long blonde hair. She is also a MTM doll and dressed in jeans and a cute cold shoulder top with sunglasses, watch and white trainers. She also comes with a pink ramp for extra play value. However, her left arm is really badly finished on the upper arm and below the elbow (please see my photo). These dolls aren’t cheap so am surprised to see this finish (I could see it clearly whilst she was in her packaging. I had the football player Barbie delivered yesterday, she too has poor finish on her upper arms). I hope Mattel reads these reviews on poor quality control. Other than that this Barbie is a great idea to introduce young children to people in wheelchairs in their play along with other Barbies, I hope Mattel introduce a wheelchair Ken too.

Perfect birthday gift
I bought the wheelchair Barbie for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. As soon as she had seen it she asked if I could get it for her birthday. The wheelchair is well made with moveable wheels so that it can be pushed along. It has a modern feel with it, light-weight and not bulky. She loved Barbie, she is a huge fan of 'Barbie everything' but what made this one special was the jointed knees, arms and wrists. This allows Barbie to be able to sit in a natural position in the wheelchair and have her hands on the wheels to make it go (With help of course).I really love how the Barbie's have developed and progressed to represent everyone in society. This is a great addition to my granddaughter's Barbie collection.

A little disappointed in the wheelchair
I bought this product for myself as a wheelchair user. I was very disappointed that the wheelchair came without push handles. In my opinion push handles would’ve added so much play value to this toy. Where is Barbie going to put her handbag?! Also my particular wheelchair has only one wheel that goes round so it doesn’t push very easily. This may be a design fault because I have heard other reviewers mention the same thing. Otherwise it’s a very good approximation of a wheelchair, I like the working brakes. The price was reasonable and it came quickly.
