As noted in the description, the actual size on these is slightly smaller than the advertised size, so you are getting what you order. I attach strips of neatly folded up newspaper to fill any gaps around the filter (above, below, and on the sides). I have been using 2 different sizes of this brand for several years and have been happy with the price/performance. They definitely trap dust and dirt from the air as they are pretty dirty when removed at the end of their service life (even without the gap filling hack I recently started employing). Recommended.

These were the most affordable for the product I was looking for. Have ordered the product several times and have never had any issues. Always came on time with not damage and have held up well.

Don't know how you really rate a furnace filter. We still get dust in the house (even with this 5 inch filter). This one fit very well in our Lennox and lasts at least 6 months without looking over-loaded. Price is fair.
