Fluval Malaysian Driftwood Aquarium Décor - Lower pH Levels, Natural and Unique Aquatic Decoration for Fish Tank

I have a 5 gallon tank for my 1 Betta fish. I only wanted a small piece of driftwood. This driftwood is the perfect size. I read that driftwood helps with the health of your Betta and aquarium. I soaked it in water for 2 days, sanded down rough edges and it sunk right to the bottom. I was worried that it was going to float but since I soaked it, it is staying at the bottom

had to soak or a few hours had to bang it around in the water a few times to get all the air bubbles out and get all the dust and splinters off but it eventually sank. its pretty small.

I got one piece that was sooo cool, like a 6 out of 5 stars... Then I got another that was really lame, I put it in anyway for blackwater aquarium effect I wanted.. Actually as of now my betta likes to hang under the smaller one, cool!! I positioned it so the water is flowing on it, possibly a really good idea for a piece that floats. These things do leech tannins and that is what I want. Will order a 3rd one and if it sucks I'm knocking my rating down to 3.

Love that I could add Java fern to it but the one complaint it the no matter how long you soak to keep submerged it floats to the top. I used rocks to weight it down other than that I’m happy and so is my betta.

Nestled this in the gravel of our horizontal 10gal that houses our betta, some Cory’s, a pair of snails, and some shrimp. Can’t say it’s done any balancing to the tank as it seemed to be thriving from day 1, but looks great among our plants.

It looks nothing like the picture it is insanely small if your looking for something that big but something else I mean jt is pretty cheap Si kind of worth the money but other then that just order a different one.

What I got was way small and it will not sink, it’s been floating for over a week now, plus it’s just plan ugly I gonna throw it away it looks like the seller went out behind his house and picked up a stick. Terrible seller

The piece I got today stated have to soak for two days. I rinsed and soaked then added to empty aquarium to soak. Not a similar shape, more of a long piece that I doubt could stand in the tank.
