Silent and elegantly simple
Worked straight out of the box. Clear, high quality instructions and excellent build quality! It does not create a strong breeze, but isn't designed to do that; what it does do is gently move the hot air that resides in the void around a wood burner into the room, allowing for the heat from the fire to be enjoyed more. I would highly recommend one of these for anyone who has a woodburner - it is worth every penny!

Runs silent...
.. most of the time.Hardly notice it running most of the time. I know some reviewers think it's not doing much but if I spin the fan by hand I can feel the airflow on my face, so, as the manufacturers say, if the fan is spinning it must be moving air, even if it's not easy to detect it.When we had christmas decs up some of the them were waving around in the airflow too, so good enough for me.Occasionally, when the stove gets very hot, the fan gets a bit excited and starts to wobble around or rattle but giving it a nudge generally stops that and it calms down again when the stove temp' drops. The biggest problem we have with it is finding somewhere to locate it. We only have a small stove and there's not a lot of room around the back so we have in on the front corner at a 45 degree angle, that seems to work well enough.

Brilliant
Our Stirling Engine fan only works when the stove is too hot to sit in the room with - pointless in reality. It is now on our paraffin heater in the greenhouse where it belts out heat and spreads it evenly to protect the plants - winner. Now the review. As soon as we put the electric stove fan on the wood burner it spun, it is now spinning so fast we can't see the blades.Stove fans don't produce massive air currents but they do circulate the heat.I can feel the hot draft from this fan when I am near it (on the back of my hand) and, it is circulating hot air at lower temperatures than our old one meaning the room is more evenly heated. In fact, it is so efficient I have placed a repeat order for a second fan giving us full room coverage.Brilliant

Sort of works
Pushes some heat a bit further out but not really convinced it does much of any note

Great service
Our fan was delivered within 48hrs, fantastic. Fits neatly at the back of our burner’s chimney give a flow of warm air, not that you can feel, into the living room. Runs silently and without noticing it. Whether it distributes warm air into adjacent hall is yet to be confirmed.
