Amsterdam Photo Transfer Gel - 500ml

Positives - a large tub of product that will last a long time. Leave for 24 hours and you should get a good image transfer.Tips from my experiments - try to use repurpose fabrics (like an old bed sheet) or pre wash new fabric to remove any manufacturing coating. Found this the best way to create a strong image, that didn’t degrade with washing.

Great product, but there is a learning curve. Still working on getting the perfect photo transfer to wood.

It works best if you give the image two or three coats, let it dry, then apply to the image as well as the surface you are transferring it onto. Leave it for 24 hours, Then gently get the paper off using water and your finger.

I used to use modge podge but results were varied. This product is brilliant. I found it good to seal the wood with the gel first.

The results from this product were fine but it had to be left on for at least 24 hours which is longer than most similar products and the instructions were too small to read and I had to look on line to find out how to use it.

I find this does the job well. Will buy again when it runs out.

works really well to transfer images. I have used it on canvases and ceramic tiles. Image transfers very well and one of the easier mediums to use.
