A short story for the Doctor
This was bought for my daughter who finished it quite quickly, she's only 9 years of age, so i had ago and found it to be a very simple game to complete. there is onyl one way to go through the game and the help you get in doing so makes it so easy to do, in fact a bit too easy to do.There are one or two obsticles which can make you faulter but after a quick think you soon crack the code, so to speak, and away you go.The graphics are pretty good and the voice overs are actually Smith and Gillan, (apparently), which gives the game a bit of credability, but as for playability it falls into the easy to boring section and, once completed, doesn't really appeal to the mind to have another go.Luckily though Amazon have and offer where they will give you a voucher for certain games, this being one of them, so, if my daughter gives me the nod, i'll be taking them up on this offer, rather than have this game sat on the shelfIn all, not a bad game with some good graphic and game play, but a little too easy to complete and not one of those games you want to play again once completed

Fun and frustrating but great for fans of the Doctor and Amy!
This is a good little game, packed full of puzzles and featuring the voice talents of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as the Doctor and Amy.Whilst it is a lot of fun and the cut-scenes are beautifully animated and voiced, the puzzles can get frustrating. None more so than the one puzzle which is unsolvable due to, I assume, a problem when it was programmed - the staff roster puzzle - so don't beat yourself up about it or spend hours trying to solve it because you won't be able to!Having the real Doctor and Amy's voices makes this game a lot more fun and heightens the authenticity making it worth the money as a gift for the Doctor Who fan in your life. Just don't buy it for someone who doesn't like puzzles because that is really what this game is all about - jigsaw-like puzzles, sliding puzzles, spot-the-difference, verbal reasoning, maze-type puzzles etc. I wasn't expecting it to be so puzzle based but still had fun. It also doesn't take too long to complete (though some of the puzzles might take a while compared to others which are really simple). You can also go back over the puzzles at the end and watch the cut-scenes over again when finished the game - a nice touch especially if you've missed any out along the way.All in all, a nice game ... if you like puzzles.

A very addictive game...one of the better ones in the Nintendo series
Well, I am well over the 3+ age group but as someone who uses the Nintendo to keep my wits alert and a fan of our friendly Time Lord, I have to say this game is very impressive, added with the actual voices of the Doctor and Amy along with the Professor Leyton style of text boxes to read. Some of the puzzles are easy, I'm pleased to say, but the mini games are something else. It certainly is a good use of my brain power, calculation and a steady hand is also needed - not much good if you suffer from Parkinsons! Unfortunately, the energy ball mini game stumps me as I don't have a steady hand - no, I don't have Parkinsons (lol) - and so I powered off the device as there is no way to cancel a mini game and nothing in the instructions to tell you how to opt out of the game if you're really stuck! I hope it doesn't reappear when I switch on - I want to confront the Daleks!Overall, a really good game, ideal for keeping the kids and adults alike amused, and makes an ideal gift for birthdays and Christmas. Well done - let's have some more Doctor Who maybe on PSP...

Nice Puzzle Game
This game is great, I may be over the target age for it but I'm a huge Doctor Who fan.If you like puzzle games like Professor Layton then you'll be in familiar territory, it's like a Professor Layton game but Doctor Who based (same movement structure, character interaction, puzzles etc). Some of the puzzles are quite easy but that's to be expected with the 3+ age guide on the cover. The trickier ones are the mini games where you have to guide energy balls without them getting destroyed.I would put the age guide for this game much higher than 3+ (more like 7+) as I doubt a 3 year old could do most of the puzzles on their own (but I guess playing with a parent would be fine!)Overall a great game! Ideal for Christmas!

Loving Dr Who
This is so much better than the usual run of the mill game where you have to find numerous objects. That is nowe so boring and I am not playing them any more. A bit like Prof Layton, the Dr Who game has puzzles, some of which are really quite, well...er puzzling!! Havent finished it yet but am enjoying it so far.
