I bought this to use with 3 small boys and a nursery school with whom I work. It has been greeted with rapturous enthusiasm by all! From the youngest, 19 months old, to the oldest, 5 years old, the children love making roads, bridges, large round houses with gates, large boats, and building housing structures (together with our other Grimms and Gluckskafer wooden arches). The older children use it with more imagination, making animal homes etc; the youngest love colour matching by driving a red car over the bridge until it finds it matching red section. I'm so pleased I bought this toy! I can see that because it's so sturdy and well made, it will last forever as well, so I can use it in my work with children until I retire!
