Really good looking lantern lamp with motion detection.. Needs more fixing point options as I had to make modifications to get it up.. Could do with dial inside to set the motion detection sensitivity as it comes on at almost anything.. Overall good just needs refining..

The PIR detector is fixed and not adjustable, it has a wide field of view between 5 & 8 metres.The light sensitivity is also non adjustable and neither is the time the light stays on, it is fixed at staying on for 60 seconds.Fitting wasn't to difficult but the lamp is heavy for the backplate and as such I had to use a wooden wedge in the bottom between the wall and the backplate to stop the light from leaning forwards, I then sealed it all round against the wall with black silicon which looked tidy when it was done.Electrical wise it couldn't be easier it just has 2 brown & blue wires ( earth is not required)Had the PIR been adjustable it would have had a better rating from meI hope this helps someone 🙂

Sensors do not work. It comes on randomly in the daylight as well as dark. Useless will return

This outdoor light is excellent value for money and is really easy to install, highly recommended.

I used it to replace a non-PIR light of similar appearance. The wall fixing holes were in different places relative to the cable outlet, so I had to drill/plug the wall for the mounting bracket. The fixing of the lamp to its bracket is a bit flimsy and sags a bit under its (considerable- due to thickness of glass) weight, so I had to improvise a bit with a wedge. It works well.

After 2 rainy months , my lantern is acting up already ! It looks like dampness is finding its way into the electrics. 👎
