What a cool learning knife! Easy to open, perfect size for my little dude and easy to use!

Nice and sturdy, I think it will be an awesome first knife to get started with.

Pros:- No point on the end.- Daughter thought the dog face was cool.- Perfect size for little hands just learning to do outdoor chores.- Pretty rugged.Cons:- locking blade stopped working; fortunately this locked it open instead of letting close on fingers.- Star-drive screw holding the handle keeps backing out. ( This caused the above issue)***NOTE: This knife is just as sharp as any adult knife. It is a knife.... not a toy.We tightened down the screw and used Loctite; daughters is still using it for fishing and outdoor chores.

Bought this for Christmas for my 7 year old to have his first knife. The blade locks both in the open and the closed state. Which is awesome for making sure the knife does not accidently open or close. Once you press the button to open the knife it opens easily so he isnt struggling to open it. It does not have a sharp point which is nice. The blade is actually sharp to be used as a knife which also helps prevent injuries because it will actually cut without to much force and pressure causing accidents to happen.If you are looking for a great knife to get a kid as a starter knife I would recommend this knife and I am very happy with the purchase.

I thought I was being half smart getting a blunt tip for my son. He's been wanting a knife to cut sticks with. So I asked him to help me cut open a box bc he wanted to help so bad. He's 8 so he's wanting to be a big boy. So I was standing next to him giving him directions on proper use when it closed on his finger when he pulled it out of the tape on the box. I had to rush to the hospital so he could get his finger glued. After checking the knife I realized it doesn't stay locked open. He will not use this again.

Present for my 7 year old. It’s dull enough don’t have to worry too much but the locking mechanisms SUCK!!! My husband had to fix it day one and it had to be tightened manually every use it’s finally just given up and it’s two months old. I wouldn’t recommend if your using it for more than cutting string

Es ist wirklich ein gutes Messer, positiv ist auch dass es einen Schutz hat aber Achtung man darf wenn es kleinere Kinder sind die nicht aus den Augen lassen (würde sagen es ist so ab 6 Jahren geeignet).

Das Zlemma Kinderschnitzmesser ist ein wirklich sehr wertiges und schönes Messer.Das öffnen und schließen geht nur durch betätigen des Pin, was ich als sehr gut empfinde.Die Klinge ist vorne schön Rund und der Griff ist wunderbar verarbeitet. Selbst nach merhmaligem schnitzen ist die Klinge noch angenehm scharf und der Druck hält auch noch. Abgerundet wird das tolle Gesamtbild noch von der Sehr schönen Ledertasche, die man an einen Gürtel befestigen kann.Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Produkt.
