I am a black woman with 4C type hair. I use this brush to prep my hair for braiding and I must say that this brush is amazing. It does not rip my hair out and it glides through it.However, for anyone with course type hair, before you use the brush remember to heat protect your hair first (after washing your hair, condition it and oil it). Also work in sections starting with the back of your hair working forward. This brush is easy to use, it's strong, it's quick and it does not damage course hair. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. Best hot air brush ever!!!

I've tried a few different brands of these.. They all either don't get hot enough to dry my hair, or the bristles are not strong enough and bend rather than go through my wet hair. This one actually works. Good what, good bristles. Very pleased with it.

I like the idea of this. But don't like the fact I have to dry my hair with an hairdryer before I use this. It's ok think brush head a bit too big for fine hair. Only used a few times see how long it lasts?

Decent product. Dries 4-4c hair well and halfed typical drying time. It also lightweight & easier to manoeuvre than a conventional blow dryer.Only neg point is that it gets very loud.

This is just what I needed it drys fast it usually takes me a while with breaks to dry my hair with a regular blow dryer, but this one took less than 10min, easy to use you don’t feel the heat at all my hair came out smooth and straight.

I’m so glad I decided to buy it. I actually got it as a spare coz I left my dryer at my sisters place and i wanted something in the meanwhile! Oh man was I impressed! It’s amazing, it’s quick and does the job. I would not say it’s feather light but it’s not as heavy as a straighter would be. And the hair doesn’t get stuck on the comb. It’s super smooth!

This is indeed an awesome straightener. It heats up very fast and really give you a light hair.

This made blow drying super easy! My daughter has thick long hair and it made blow drying a breeze. All of the settings work great. I will definately keep this in our regimen. I have an expensive blow dryer that I have been using but this one is easier to maneuver and its not heavy.
