Good learning tool as well as fun sticking
I was really pleased with this book. Each double page is a roman scene, and you take the appropriate set of stickers from the back of the book to complete the picture. The stickers can be placed anywhere, and they provide a talking point to expand your child's historical knowledge. For example one page is a gladiator stadium, so you can arrange gladiators and animals, and talk about the fact that the romans built amphitheatres, and what went on there. My son has loved doing this sticker boox. The stickers are not amazingly sticky but they do the job, and if they get applied to my windows/walls etc when I am not looking, they are easy to remove!

Educational and fun
Our 6-year old is quite historically-aware, mostly because we are history enthusiasts. So we try to give her books and craft material that relates to periods she is somewhat familiar with, like the roman empire. This colourful book is great as the cartoon-style drawings and stickers are funny while it deals with a number of aspects of roman life. And most topic spark a little bit of discussion.Books like these are great to bring on holiday, easy to pack and give the kids some activity during travel and on location. And most importantly it keeps them off the Ipad (for a bit)Highly recommended

7 year old son loved it
My son has other Usbourne sticker books & really wanted a Roman's one to go with his school work. It took him a few hours & he loves looking at it & it has helped with his school work too.

stickers don't stick
A great way to learn history with a sticker book! But sadly the stickers don't stick well, which I would not expect from Usbourne books
