Love this
Bought when on trend with the gram, a fun piece, great color options and overall look/performance. The fibers are flexible and transfer the light beautifully. Must maintain conditioning on the fibers so they do not become brittle and break

This whip is the real deal
the lights are actually beautiful and it has the perfect wight to for dancing.falls and wraps around perfectly. I had to contact customer service and they were really fast and helped immediately . I wasn't expecting it to come so fast but was here in time the exact day of a party I was throwing with a house dj spinning vinyl. and that alone was amazingly unexpected even if with no time to practice before.

Pretty good LED Fiber optic whip
I purchased two of these to use as a light painting tool. I'm not sure how bright it is in comparison to other LED whips but I would say for sure is that in a dark environment it is bright enough. It's nice that this kit came with a bag but I'd say it's a bit small and puts a lot of stress on the strands over time since you'll have to coil it up tightly to fit it into the bag. TIP: Keep the plastic protective sleeve that it comes with, it'll make coiling up the fiber strands really easy to get this into the tiny bag. Without this plastic tube sleeve you'll have a hard time trying to coil the strands to get it into the bag (the fiber strands are varied in length.) I'm going to look for a more durable sleeve solution because eventually the plastic sleeve will wear out.Durability - I can't comment on this yet since I just got it, I'll update this further if I run into issues but so far it seems sturdy. The handle body is all metal with a hand-strap on the end cap. On/off button is on the end cap and the mode button is closer to the swivel head. The end cap seems to get loose and unscrews on it's own so be sure to check to make sure it's secure. The construction of this doesn't seem to be water proof/resistant so don't get it wet. The fiber optic strands will wear down and break over usage time.Battery life - I haven't fully tested this but the three rechargeable AAA batteries that I used lasted for quite awhile when used on/off - 2.5-3hrs. Constant on, battery life of course would be shorter. I could NOT get my collection of Li-ion 18650 batteries to fit in this as an alternative power source. The AAA battery holder is about the same size as an 18650 battery but the holder has a springy tip so it compresses when the end cap is screwed back in. The end cap also has a compression tip spring but it won't compress enough to fully encompass an 18650 battery. My feeling is that the end cap was not designed for use with the 18650 battery.Operational Modes - While it does say it's supposed to go through all those color modes, I haven't fully tested this portion of it to see if it actually has them all, e.g. flashing, fading, etc.

Amazing fun with fiber whip
Purchased two as Christmas gifts for my son and his girlfriend to take to the music festivals they attend frequently. My son said it was okay but more of a chick thing. His girlfriend absolutely loved it and cant wait for the next festival. My son gave his to girlfriends sister. I was able to play with it before I sent them off and just loved the way the colors dance around as you swirl and twirl the whip. I liked it so much that i ordered another for myself. While it is fun in the daytime, you must use at night to really be dazzled by the colors. I cant wait to take it to the next beach bonfire. I cant say anything about durability or battery life (have not had it long enough) but the 40 different light combinations/patterns make it a winner my book. The one caution would be in a tight space you have to watch that you dont actually "whip" somebody. It would definitely hurt to be in the way of the whips used by someone else. Probably not good for children because of this. Very happy with my purchases.

Gets Tangled Easily - lube it up!
This is my first fiber optic whip, I really do love it. It's so much fun! It got tangled fairly easily when I got it, so I just purchased some over the counter silicone lube and it worked perfectly. The battery hasn't died yet and it's been on for at least 1-2hours worth of time. It's easy to select the modes, sometimes I accidentally push the button.Love it!

Good product and very colorful.
My daughter got this for her birthday. My husband thought it would be fun for her haha it takes 3 AAA batteries not included, but it kept the kids entertained for an hour or so. It’s colorful, you can change the colors on your own or set it to change automatically.
