Just what I was looking for
This is brilliant, exactly what I was looking for. Apparently is not so easy to make these tiny ones - most of the brands I found had some reported issues with overheating so I wanted to avoid plastic ones. This is great, silent, safe, very quick. Make sure to only add water up to the mark otherwise it will spill. The cable is not long at all, which is usual with these things. I'm very happy with my purchase. Solid product.

energy saver
perfect for boiling the right amount of water for one or two cups of tea or coffee, auto shut off is ok not too much over boil. boils a cup of cold water for a medium sized mug (250ml) in 45 seconds. no problems with the spout for pouring, its a slowish pour though. takes up no room in the kitchen, small and discreet, another bonus. The only thing that would have made this kettle even better would have been if it was cordless but tbh it isn't an inconvenience having it next to a plug socket. the lead is plenty long enough at 65cm when plugged in. instead of taking the kettle to the tap just fill the mug and pour into the kettle helps to ensure the correct amount of water for your drink and saves electricity too. the outside of the kettle does get hot but who touches the outside of a kettle anyway... covered element is exactly what i was looking for instructions say to boil 3 lots of water to clean it on first use which i did and there is no discoloration or weird tastes. I would recommend for those looking to reduce their electricity use ass this little gem ensures you boil what you need and make some savings. Used daily and recommended, great value.

It’s not mobile… but -
Great little kettle … don’t go by the negative reviews. It’s perfect for when you’re travelling when places in Europe (and London 😳) don’t have an electric in the hotel room or apartment. It’s essential for us tea living Brits. Don’t forget to pack your English breakfast tea either!

Ideal for camping if using electric hookup
Bought on the recommendation of a friend who's had one for years & used it all over the planet as well as for camping. Metal won't crack in a suitcase being thrown around by baggage handlers unlike plastic. This arrived quickly & is tiny as per description. Comes with 2 of the smallest cups ever seen;more useful for espresso or perhaps gin. (I don't drink gin). It fills one decent size mug & does boil quickly so not too long to wait if making more than 1 mugful of tea. This is ideal for camping when using electric hookup as it saves on gas. I like that it's small & will take up less room than the average kettle for gas hob use. Unsure what to do with the tiny cups. Possibly leave them out for some hobbits.

The kettle is wonderful. The cups / glasses are small and pretty useless.
The kettle is amazing. I don't know if I would take it with me while travelling, but I have taken it to work. In the staff room we are allowed to have stuff, so I took it. It's not heavy. The size of the kettle is enough to make one or two cups of tea, depending on how much water you need for that.To clean it up, I would recommend something like Oust. As it is small, you won't be able to handwash it. And Oust has not corroded the metal or anything.Pretty happy. about it. As I said, I am discounting the cups-they are useless, but I didn't buy this kettle for the cups. The cups I chucked them into the recycling bin as soon as I got the kettle delivered and opened the package.

Bent and dented
Kettle arrived with a massive dent in it. Have contacted the supplier for advice, none forethcoming yet. Kettle functions ok, holds 2 mugs of water, boils quite quickly. Apart from the dent it's ok.
