Very easy to change if you have strong wrists, I don't but with my sons help got it in the truck. You don't need to take the seat out of the truck. I went to a self serve auto wreckers here and educated myself how they were attached and used one of the busted up trucks there as a learning tool. I also bought from the wreckers a mint passenger side front seat foam for $5.00! Beats paying $260 on Amazon for new seat foam. With that seat foam we fastened the new upholstery on (no hog rings, gm went with a track system molded in the foam, new material snaps in place!). When finished it looks like brand new, I'm so impressed I'm going to do the passenger side too.

i did find it easier to remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts that hold the seat down so i could tilt the seat backwards and forwards to replace the seat cover i'm 68 installed it in my driveway took me about an hour
