I read the reviews of people who were disappointed with flimsy presses and they wished they bought a cast iron one.Now I have a cast iron one I can see why........this one is heavy and extremely strong,it doesn't warp and this makes it much easier to use. You need the weight of the machine so you don't have to use much force to compress the dough.I make individual thin crust pizza bases in it,and I bought a cast iron hot plate which is essential to cook tortillas on and I use it on my induction hob.Photan345

This product consistently produces perfect corn tortillas. Make sure to use waxed/baking parchment paper to stop the masa sticking. This product is not intended (as some people have complained) for producing flour tortillas, puris, rotis or chapatis. Solid, well-finished and decent value. The only issue was the couriers the item was handed to on arrival in the UK- it passed through the hands of 3 different couriers, and the final courier lied about trying to deliver it (I was in all that day). Luckily they sorted it out eventually.

Excellent tortilla press, really pleased with the quality, made a batch of corn tortillas and they were perfect. Easy to use, delivered on time, just brilliant all round.

Heavy but sturdy. However it does not press the dough fully only half.

This is a solid piece of kit. Produces perfect tortillas. Will last forever!
