Fissler original-profi collection Wok With Lid 084-823-35-000/0, 35 cm, in Sturdy, Non-sensitive Stainless Steel

I know this wok is ridiculously expensive and the only reason I bought it is because of the great discount from Amazon Houseware Deals.(50%off, with rust stains on the oil rack, but the wok and lid are perfect), well, even with the discount, it is still much more expensive than other woks online.However, when I received this product, I'm so happy that I grabbed this bargain. It is the most well built and solid cooking wok I ever had, worth every penny. It is nonstick when you heat it up to 170c before adding cold oil then start stir fry. With its famous medical grade 18/10 Stainless Steel, I do not need to worry about bad chemicals like cooking with my old pans with non stick coating.All in all, I think it is a great investment if you cook Asian food a lot, or if you care about the health of your family a lot.

The media could not be loaded.  Very high quality effective wok, this arrived Fissler branded lift top box very well packed and protected, as soon as you open it up I could clearly see and feel the high quality. I gave it a good look over to check for any faults or defects but could not find any and all the finishing looked flawless.I love Asian food and as my wife is Filipina it makes up a large part of our families meals, after giving the wok a good wash out I tried it with a simple stir fried chicken noodle dish and it really works well, the lid is perfect for steaming, the handles say cool enough to manipulate the wok or remove it from the stove without the need for any oven gloves or cloth, I found it cooked well and gave a good even heat to everything.The cleaning is very straight forward, I filled it with water after use just to leave it to soak and after a couple of wipes round with a soft cleaning pad it was clean again. My wife absolutely loves this wok and has since cooked a variety of Filipino and Asian dishes all turning out great.Overall this really is a high quality wok, solid and well made, it has a half pan metal grid which works great when cooking to stand utensils and the lid can be replaced even when this is in place, it gives great results evenly distrusting the heat through the wok, it can be easily moved or manipulated with the handles, the cleaning is really simple, my wife loves it and I can’t fault it so have given it top marks.

The wok which I have received contains a stainless steel base, lid and rack which can be hung inside the wok. Some of the pictures left by other reviewers show a glass lid however I don't know what product this relates to and the product I have received is exactly the same as that which is shown in the official Amazon product pictures.At its widest point, the wok is approximately 35cm in diameter, with the bottom of the base being approximately 20cm in diameter and approximately 10cm in height. The lid adds a further c. 10cm in height. Accordingly, the wok is plenty big to cook enough food for an average sized family. This particular wok can be used on a gas or electric hob or in an oven and can be used for both stir frying or deep frying. As such, it is very flexible in its uses and could almost be used as a one pot solution for many different types of meals.The wok is much more expensive that I would have initially expected however, it is clear to see on arrival that this is a very high quality product, not only by its weight but also by the quality of the finish, which is a mix of matt and polished surfaces (the handles are polished stainless steel). Crucially (from my perspective), the wok is dishwasher safe and whilst this will result in some discolouration over time, it doesn't appear to impact the operation at all.The only problem I have with it is that its huge size makes it a bit difficult to store in a small kitchen but for that being the only complaint, I don't think there's too much wrong with it!

The media could not be loaded.  This Wok is built like a tank. It's heavy and you can feel the build quaily. There is an extra grill also included to allow you to separate some food.It gets up to heat fast and provides an even heat dissipation to ensure your food is cooked evenly.Cleaning is easy with it being made from stainless steel and with little effort, it's ready to go for the next meal.It wouldn’t surprise me if this Wok outlasts me it's built that well.

We have got several Fissler pots and the more we use them, the more we forget how much we paid for them. They are just head and shoulders above nearly all the rest.This wok oozes quality. Thick stainless steel, nice handles, a tight fitting lid, and so on. I know the bottom would be sandwiched with this layer and that layer of different metals as is the case for our other pots. We use it on our induction hobs and the heat transmission and retention is very good. I use it for stir-fries and I can add a lot of stuff without worrying spill-over as the wok is of the good size for a family up to 6 I think. The lid is really tight fitting and with a nice dome shape, so there is plenty of room to use it as a big steamer with the enclosed insert. I have steamed the whole chicken in it.I would have preferred to have a wok with long handle to make it easier to take out the cooked dishes. But I can see that there is such an option.I have been using my Fissler pots regularly for close to 10 years and they still work as new. Whereas my other pots and pans have all gone through several rounds. So, it pays to spend more if you are going to keep it.

I covered the wok with its lid while cooking.But the lid fitted too well ,I couldn’t remove the lid.The lid should be smaller than the wok for better use.

Magnifique wok acheté pour remplacer mon wok électrique en teflon. Il a la même taille (35 cm). Couvercle tout inox. Polyvalent avec son panier vapeur acheté en plus. Utilisé pour la première fois cette semaine pour cuire un chop choy de poulet, j'en suis satisfaite et je l'adore. Oui, il est grand, mais "qui peut le plus peut le moins". Il a trouvé sa place dans une armoire. Livraison rapide. L'offre reconditionnée valait la peine. Livraison Premium en un jour respectée. Je suis toujours satisfaite des services de Amazon.

Tiene una calidad estupenda, un acero y un acabado magnífico. Se cocina en él muy bien y tiene una gran capacidad. Tengo que decir que yo lo adquirí a un precio asombrosamente rebajado lo cual lo hace más apetecible.
