Very empowering hat
My daughter loves this hat. I got this hat as a surprise before our recent vacation. Being a normal, precocious 4-year-old, she's easily distracted, investigating everything along the trail. Going for a hike becomes a long endeavor. "Dad, check out this bug" "this plant is cool", etc. By placing a rainbow dash hat on her head, she was now interested in speed! How fast could she run ahead, run back, run down the trail, and so on. Piggyback ride? "Nope, your Rainbow Dash, you fly on your own!!"

Cute, but runs small!
This is a cute hat but it is very small on my 7 year old. I would say the average size child this would fit is somewhere in the 3-5 year age range.
