Q: I have just taken delivery of an aoa-2408r antenna for use on a boat. which is the most appropriate wifi dongle for use with this antenna?

I would say the TubeU-N if you plan on directly connecting to a laptop etc, or you can use wirelessly if you add an ALFA R36 router.

No, I would suggest a 4g signal booster.. or just switch on WiFi calling if it’s just text and calls you need.. google it.. I use the Alfa Tube to pick up Wi-fi hotspots upto 8 Miles away.. the signal is then passed through a 12v WiFi router so that a number of tablets, laptops, phones can connect..I have this equipment fitted on my boat so I can be anchored somewhere and still get Wi-fi access to the internet

I’m using R36. But it is on 240v with transformer.
