These are great! This is my second set. I bought a sat for a client and installed them in the floor of his business. I loved the quality and they just pop up and it's unique and very cool. I bought this set for my house. I am installing them in an island I am installing into the wall it's an extra large D shaped counter top. In the inset wall space I will install these so you can charge your phone or use a laptop while sitting at the island. My only wish is that they made them in white. On a side note make sure when wiring these you only put in the amount of wire you need or you'll be re-wiring them as there will be no space for the receptacles in the box. I know being an electrician we are always keeping in mind the 6" rule but 6" will not fit in these boxes ( unless you are using stranded wire, then maybe ) solid wire is a no go at that length. I would wire it like a bathroom fan, just enough wire to get the job done.

Excellent product for the price so convenient having this in my island and way cheaper than I could’ve purchased at Menards or Home Depot!

Recommend having a basic electrical background and tools to install it is a little difficult to connect all the wiring and for it to fit and open and close properly but once you get it working it looks great and works good.

Perfect in floor outlets.Not a huge fan of the limited space for wire management and the locking tab slips into the usb port way to easily during operation of open and close.

Gold version is nice and goes well with kitchen design. It does pop open super fast so time will tell how long this mechanism will hold. Just hold the lid to prevent it opening up so fast.

My electrician said an issue with internal wiring. Proper amperage metered before gang box and weak amperage metered in actual receptacle in outlet. I could not use. Waiting for amazon and or seller to refund me.Thanks,Bill
