A simple book whose power to move corresponds to the depth of our experience.The illustrations really add something to the story and are good at holding younger listeners. Our son, who is not yet three, is enamored of the story, in part because of the illustrations.The physical book itself is large and unwieldy, but this is of course compensated by the corresponding size of text and illustration.
