Aside from the stong chemical smell this is a really good knee brace. I have issues with my knee from time to time and I recently moved and couldn't find my original brace so I had to order one. I was worried as I didn't know if the quality would be up to par with the brace that I had from the doctors that I bought back in the states and paid a mint for. But this one is almost identical and I can't complain about the price. Shipping was extremely fast (I did pay for expedited services as needed it quickly). But it does have a pretty strong smell to it. Other then that it fit perfectly and kept my knee supported.

This is a great knee support and the price is amazing. Really comfortable to wear and the two Velcro adjustable straps allow you to easily loosen/tighten. It's a very well made unit, I was expecting it to be cheaply made but this is a quality product and happy to recommend. You need to measure your knee size before ordering.

Given that this is priced at the cheaper end of the market, I have been surprised by how well it has performed and I now wear it for every day out in the hills as my left knee is knackered. It does chafe the skin and to prevent this I have found the best solution is to wear tubigrip underneath it

Having tried numerous other, much more expensive, products, I happened upon this on the basis of the many positive reviews. I have to say that it is very effective in supporting my knee. Used to struggle after about 12/ 13 holes on the golf course since injuring my knee a couple of months ago. I then used to have to "rest" the knee for a couple of days before contemplating the next round of golf. Worn this a couple times and each time have finished the round in much more comfort and without the need to rest for the knee afterwards. To get the right size, it is best to measure above the knee, roughly where the top of the support is likely to be because, I think the measurement refers to the circumference of the top end of the support.

I had my leg measured when it was swollen following a meniscus root repair and an ACL reconstruction at 43 cm, the swelling has now gone down but I bought the 40-43cm size and it's still extremely tight and painful. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

First of all I took careful note of the advice to get the right size for my knee support. You must measure the circumference of knee joint just where the patella is. Do not neglect to do this. I did measure and so it fitted perfectly - and of course it can be tightened by means of velcro straps, or slackened, to suit circumstances. After a week's daily use (never leave it on overnight!) I find I can leave it off altogether for a long while, and put it back on only when I get the odd twinge. It is a support, not a cure. Cure takes time and gentle use but this support is always there in case it is needed. Time will tell.
