As an American, I was very surprised to learn that the United States is considered to be on the low end of the chocolate spectrum. Apparently you just can't get good chocolate in the US. How can the fattest nation on Earth not have good chocolate? Slightly alarmed by this, I decided to try a Kit-Kat bar manufactured in another country, as this is my favorite candy bar and I wanted to see if it could possibly be made any better.If you like Kit-Kat bars, but you've only eaten the American Hershey's variety, you don't know what a real Kit-Kat tastes like. I am telling you right now. I don't know if it's worth shelling out $8 for an international product, but this is a good candy bar.The Kit-Kat wafer itself tastes mostly the same. Good old Kit-Kat flavor. The chocolate is really what makes the difference. It has a darker, slightly more bitter flavor. In other words, it tastes like actual chocolate. After you've had this, the American Kit-Kat feels almost watered down, like the taste of chocolate just isn't as strong. This is real chocolate manufactured in a country that knows good chocolate. This is really the only way I know to describe it.If you're curious and have some extra money to throw away, or if you happen to be on an international trip and want to know if the rumors are true, treat yourself to some Kit-Kats from the UK. Take the recommendation of a long-time chocolate lover.

I will never eat a regular US kit kat bar again. This is the best tasting candy bar I've had in a while...Why is it the US's chocolate bars, usually made by Hershey's, tastes like it has wax in it??? I quit eating our chocolate YEARS ago.. it's just not the same. :-(This particular one from the UK, has a smooth texture, where you could almost swear you made the chocolate yourself. Sooo Smooth and soooo much sweeter then the ones we have here in the US!The other ones I would LOVE to try are from Japan. Something like 60 flavors.. Gotta get me some of those!!!Anyway, give it a whirl, I know you'll love it too.Cheers!!!

I have a life-threatening peanut allergy which means I can not eat kit-kats in the states. I used to be able to before they changed packaging to include a peanut warning. They were my favorite candy/bar. This is why I ordered ones from England, they don't have the warning. I thoroughly enjoyed this kit-kats. They tasted the same to me. They arrived unbroken and fresh.

what I get is not England kit kat but kit kat made in germany and and there is a huge deferent in taste so there is kind of cheat in this item

Because of my peanut allergy, I have been unable to eat Kit Kat bars made by Hershey in the U.S. since they added a "Made in a Facility that Processes Peanuts" statement to the label approximately 15 years ago. However, I have known for some time now that outside of the United States, Kit Kat is made by Nestle, and it certified by the company to be peanut-free. I've looked around online a lot, and this is the best deal you're going to get on imported Kit Kat bars. Great quick service from across the pond--I definitely will be ordering more once my current supply runs out!

I loved being able to offer my daughter (w a peanut and tree but allergy) a treat she normally could not indulge in bc of nut cross contamination warnings. Despite all that buildup, she can take them or leave them (just "meh")! However, I thought they were delicious and well priced. Thank you!

The candy arrived much sooner than expected and was not broken. I ordered this candy from the UK because I've heard others go on and on about how the chocolate is of such higher quality and tastes better than what we get here in the USA. I thought these KitKats were okay. I personally prefer US KitKats. I guess it's what you get used to. My husband thought these were much better than the US version, but I disagree. They were definitely good, but I was expecting more.

The Kit Kat is different in the US and UK, so I wanted to try to see which one I liked better. I like them both.
