My 2-year-old daughter specially produced two pieces of artwork for me - one for my home office and one for my work office. I needed a plain and simple frame for each, so as not to detract from the crayon masterpiece, which I think, could be what otherworldly-mice see after dropping acid at a Grateful Dead concert... or the music of Hawkwind manifested visually in order to unlock the secrets of the universe... or something.Anyway, I figured plain black frames would provide good contrast and keep them nice and smart in the environments in which they were to be showcased. I picked the cheapest ones I could find, on the logic that they don't have to be particularly well-made to be able to hang on the wall undisturbed.They actually look pretty smart and are constructed as well as any frame you'd find in a high-street shop. They may only be plastic frames with perspex "glass", but they look smart, don't look cheap, and they do the job. They seem sturdy enough for frames too. To be frank, if you want better, you may as well fork out proper money and go to a professional art-framing service, because these are absolutely fine. You won't get any better without spending a lot more money.

Simple smart design.I think fancy frames detract from the picture placed in them.Probably not very sturdy, but I just hung the frame and look at it. Sturdy enough for it's purpose, I don't play with picture frames!:-)

It’s a basic, lightweight frame with a clear plastic front. Cheap and cheerful but adequate fir what I needed.
